Photos of Missy enjoying one of her favorite books, Goose bumps horror land on christmas day. She wanted to order some books from the school book club in August and she was allowed to raid her money box to do so under the condition that she didn't get any red squares at school until the order came in, usually two weeks. lol she lasted 2 days and they got put away until xmas. Since getting them she has brought about 4 more from her own money.

And here are the other two denim and lace cards. I enjoyed making the first one for Let's get shabby so I made two more. Fingers crossed after the shabby challenge has finished I will be lucky enough to get them accepted into a magazine as a set.

Thanks Santa Rach.

Some retreat projects.

I had a blast at the retreat and managed to do 7 layouts and 2 cards. Not all will be here. Some are for dt samples and others still need to be photographed as the camera battery went flat.

Here they are.

Strike a pose.

Missy in her new glasses.

Another of the many photos from our photo shoot with Sandie.

Riley and Rex.

Fun in some boxes.

A few pics of Missy in the cubby she made out of my scrap shelf boxes.

I took my camera down to the retreat but when it came to taking photos I was slack. There were quiet a lot of cameras taking photos so I grabbed some pics from facebook. When the group photo was being taken the resort guy had to go through about 7 cameras and it did take a while.

All of us.

And again.

Although someone forgot to tell Christine that it was jeans day. lol

Some creating and some photos.

I have had some time for creating this weekend and here is what I have done.

Forever young.

Not my usual page and it was a challenge for me to do but something I wanted to do for a very special friend, Yvonne. The lady on the left in the photo. It was her birthday a few weeks back and her bestie, the lady with her in the photo passed away that same day. It has been a rough week or so for her and she wanted to scrap the photo. I know how hard it would be for me to scrap such a photo if it was a close friend of mine without getting emotional and I offered to do it for her.

Ponder.

One of the many photos that was taken by Sandie a few weeks back. A friend of ours made up a Pink Paisley multi size album for her as a thank you in return for doing some photos of her children so that she could use as a portfolio of sorts and I am going to do up a few pages to add to it. This page is a 5 by 7 inch one.

I have used one of my newer Purple Onion stamps on this from the Elegant label set.

I am going to enter this into the current sketch challenge over at Stuck sketches.

Best wishes.

This is will be going into work with me tomorrow. My boss is getting married in two weeks and us girls have all put in to get her something special.

I have used my new Ribbon label stamp from Purple Onion teamed up with a sentiment from the Mini sentiments.

I am gong to enter this into some challenges.

Jay gee inspiration challenge

Before I go here are some photos of my cheeky girl in her new glasses which we picked up on Saturday morning.

She was over the moon when I told her that she could pick out her own this time round.

Well that is all from me for now. I will be back tomorrow to share a sneak of my next heritage class and to also add in the links for the challenges as bloglines is down at the moment and I can't grab the links to them.
As always thanks for popping in, any comments and happy creating.

I can finally share

A card I did a few weeks back while catching up with some of the Perth girls at a crop a while back. I couldn't post it before as it was going to be used in a

application that has just been released.

Here is my card.

Just for you.

Anan Stubbington approached Michele from Purple Onion about having some of her design team do up some cards for it and I jumped at the chance. I used some of my all time favorite Purple Onion stamps on card.
Late 1800's script background
Vintage Butterfly set
Hopscotch sentiments set

If you would like to get the card app you can grab the 12 free sketches here or the full version for $4.99 that includes the 12 plus another 104 sketches here.

Here is a sneak peek of what you can expect to see. I popped on over to the link to check it out and was so excited to see my card used in a part of the promotion.

I can't wait to see it on a phone IRL. lol I don't have an Iphone yet. Soon though as both Craig and I will update to one when our contracts run out.

Well that is it from me for now. Thanks for popping in, any comments and happy creating.

And a close up of the stamping detail using the Love note block stamp and an Elegant label stamp.

Kitchen tea card and back to school photos.

I have had a nice afternoon out with friends from work at another friends kitchen tea party. Here is the card I made for her from all of us.

Have a tea-riffic day.

Here is a close up of the stamping I did using some images from the Coffee and tea set from Purple Onion.

Missy went back to school on Wednesday and here are the photos I got. Not that great as she didn't want to stop long enough for me to take them.

Back to work for me tomorrow but it won't be too long before I have another day of in a few weeks. I am heading of on a scrapbooking retreat and have got the Friday of so I can get myself all sorted.

I've been having more fun

It's great

being on holidays again.

Missy is back at school tomorrow and I have taken the week of so I could spend a few more days with her enjoying some Mummy daughter time and taking her to school for her first day back. We are all packed and ready to go and she is excited about it all too. I've just got to check the camera batteries and make sure they are charged so I can take the back to school pics including the usual walking down the drive one. I am going to make the most of it while I can as one day she won't want me to take the photos or go with her on her first day back at school.

And with being on holidays I have had some scrappy time. Here is a bit of what I have been creating.

Just us girls.

More photos from the photo shoot with Sandie a few weeks back. I had this one semi finished but it needed something else after the crop on the weekend. That something else ended up being the randomly stamped edge using my Damask stamp from Purple onion, the torn edges with the touch of yellow peeking out and a doodled border not that it is showing up in the photo though.

Just because.

I have been having a bit of fun making flowers lately and here is another one made with a whole bunch of layered up and scrunched ovals.

I made up the flower and then the card a few days later but didn't have any of the same papers left so it sort of doesn't match.

I do have some more but as they are for dt projects I can't share just yet but will do as soon as I can.

As always thanks for popping in, any comments and happy creating.
