Some scrapping to share.

The latest challenge over at Lets get shabby was revealed during the week. Here is my sample. Make sure you pop on over and check out what the other girls have done and welcome our newest member to the shabby team.

Things here for me have been a bit rocky out here and I made this up for a friend who has been my angel lately.

Be happy.

Created using my CHA inspired chalk board kit and for the Studio challenges wings challenge.

Goodbye long hair.

Created using my main counterfeit kit.

I created both of these while cropping on Saturday and I came home to find out that I was selected as 1 of this months fab 5. So thanks for that. I have had fun scrapping with my kits and can't wait to see what kits they have got in store for us to lift next month.

Oops I missed the deadline for this one but popping it up anyway. You need to be inspired by the leaf photo.

Best wishes.

Well that is it from me for now. Hoping to get my scrappy but into gear during the week so that I have got some more stuff to show you.

I scrapped

I had the afternoon to myself today and after finishing the washing and doing a little housework I played with my scrappy stuff.

Sitting pretty.

I've been scrapnapping again. The photo is of my online bestie Mandy's daughter Paige taken on the carousel under the Efiel tower in Paris.

I created this using my big kit created for the Counterfeit kit challenge blog. When Mandy seen the kit I had put together she asked if I wanted to use the photo.

As always thanks for popping in, any comments and happy creating.

I've been having some scrappy fun

playing along with the challenges at Counterfeit kits.

I've had so much fun putting the main kit together that I decided to do up a smaller one for the CHA bonus challenge.

Here is the paper pack that I have chosen.

I am loving the chalk board effect that is out lately and these embellies and frames are great too.

Here is the kit I put together to work with.

I have added in my kit an assortment of some of my favorite Purple Onion stamps, white letters and rubons to make my own embellies.

I had fun playing around with the stamps, white paint and rubons and made up my own frame to use on a page in my Cradle mountain mini album that fits in with the chalkboard challenge.

As my Cradle mountain mini album is black based I am sure to use more of my goodies from this kit to create a heap more pages in it.

Another challenge that they have this month is to finish of an unfinshed project. When I make cards I like to do up a set of three seeing as I get three card bases from one sheet of cardstock and while I was on holidays in Tassie with Mandy and during our stay at Cradle mountain I started but never got round to finishing the set as my mojo wasn't happening. It just so happened that I had included some of the materials that I had planned on using on all three cards in the main kit that I finished of my card set.

Here is the unfinished set.( Sorry for the bad photo. Was taken at night time.)

When I usually create my card sets I try and make them similar but not this time I decided to do three different cards and even left one without a greeting so that I can add it on later when I need a card for a certain reason.

Sorry for the long post guys. As always thanks for popping in, any comments and happy creating.

Counterfeit kit

With me not feeling that great and a few other issues here at home my scrapping mojo has decided to leave me and to help rectify the matter I have appointed my online bestie Mandy as my official scrapping motivator and get my ass into gear kicker.

The first thing she did was to send me over to The Counterfeit kit challenge blog which she has been playing with for a awhile now. The idea of the challenge is to replicate a kit site scrapping kit with goodies from your own stash and then use that kit to play along with challenge that they have and what ever other challenges you feel like.

Here is the kit that I have chosen.

and my take on it.

I love using mint/aqua on my pages so have picked out those colours to build my kit around. Added in some doilies a whole range of letters, stamps and embellies and I am all set to have some fun with my kit.

Last weekend I took Asher out to have her hair cut and to buy some new clothes. Here is a photo from the photo session we had when we got home.
