When I found out that Just scrapbooking was closing down I thought that my days of teaching had come to an end as well but that is not the case. I popped into see Anne Marie down at Made with Memories and asked if she needed a teacher there. She said yes and also invited me onto the design team too.

When I was scrapping there on Saturday with Tamara, Christine and Sarah I added the finishing touches onto my two layouts. Here's a sneak peek for you.

With all that has been happening here I have been a forgetful blogger but with dancing concert, Asher's birthday and Christmas out of the way I may just get back on track. Here is a bit of a photo share of what has been happening.

Asher's birthday sleepover.

Seeing as she was dancing on her actual birthday we had her sleep over party the weekend before. Here are the girls all having fun on the trampoline out back.

And this one I took when we went up to the new playground at Kings park.

They all had a great time and I was exhausted. Asleep at 11.30 and up at 5.30 the next morning.

Dance concert windup.

Showing of her new charm on her I did great job bracelet. My little Missy gets a little disappointed that she tries her best and at the end of the year doesn't get trophies or medals like the other girls so I started up the charm bracelet for her but seeing as she most probably will not be dancing next year we don't call it her dancing bracelet any more.

All dressed and ready to go. I even managed to get glitter on her eyes. Amazing what bribery will do. She now has a Monster high doll she had been wanting for a while. The first of many I bet.

Birthday.

Opening up one of her pressies at 5.00 in the morning. There was no chance she was going to wait any longer.

We had two dance concerts that day, a lunch time one and a night time one. In between we came home for a rest and took some photos out back of our birthday girl. Here is one of the three of us.

Christmas day.

Well I just realized that the few photos I took are still on the camera but will share them once I get them of it.

Scrapping wise this is what I have to share.

The photo isn't all that clear so have added in a close up.

A friend of mine's favorite saying at Christmas is Bah humbug and I have made this up for her with some of my Purple Onion stamps.

I have been a part of the JS crowd for a few years now as both a teacher and a design team member and it was sad to hear that Jordie had decided to close down the store. Thanks for all the happy memories and laughs girls. You will be missed heaps. Here are the last few pages that I did for them.

Over at Scrap Therapy it was reveal day for a new man and new challenges on Friday night. Seeing as it is nearly christmas the man for the two months is the big red man himself. Father Christmas. The dt girls are going to be scrapping with the Christmas ranges, both new old and that are in the Therapy shop. Here is what I have created for the first showcase.

Trying to get a good photo of it was tricky and ended up having to have it curled up on my bathroom bench rather than hung up to get it all in the photo.

I have had a nice weekend out here. Missy and I had a Mummy and daughter day while Craig was golfing and yesterday we all went up to the new playground at kings park. Missy had lots of fun and we know that next time we go to take an extra change of clothes as she was totally soaked.

I also popped into Mystical during the week and even managed to do one of the challenges.

It was a wet day here today but a great day as in between the showers the very talented Miss Sandie Mallon managed to snap some gorgeous pics of Missy when we went out to Ruth's farm for a photo shoot.

my latest favorite page now. I just heard back from Milie, a fellow member of Challenge masters, whose gorgeous little girl Isabella I scrapnapped.

1st Easter.
Milie posted some stunning photos just before Easter of a photo shoot she did and I asked if I could scrap one of them for her. I was just waiting for the right inspiration and when I printed out the photos for Mandy's June room Inspiration challenge and sat down to scrap last night I knew the pink and green room was just what I needed.

What a week.

It has been a busy week out here and in a way I was glad that it was as it was a sad one too with a funeral on Thursday.

A close friend of ours, mother passed away last weekend. Asher wanted to go along to the funeral but we didn't think that it was apropriate so she did a drawing for Nana Helen, as she called her instead.

I can finally share some pages that I have had up my sleeve for a while. I have created these two layouts as part of a banner showcase for Scrap Therapy using papers and stamps for this months manufacturer My Minds Eye which was revealed on Friday night.

I also want to share a few photos from today. Mothers day.

Here is one that I got Craig to take first thing this morning. I had forgotten to set the camera up the night before using Tiff's tips, which you can find here in the forum, so I got him to take a few snaps on P and the rest on auto. This is a P one.

Yes I am finally starting to think about playing with the settings on my camera. lol It has taken me long enough and I may even get more adventurous with the help of Tiff and my digital photography for dummies book that I got for mothers day.

After breakie in bed this morning Missy and myself joined in with a game of Bingo over at challenge masters and she beat me. She split the 10 words I had picked out into 5 each and all hers got called out before mine. With that win under her belt she wanted to play monopoly deal and she won that 3 nil.

After popping in to see both sets of parents and having a late lunch we came home and we snapped a few photos out side.

When Missy wanted to take a few pics of me I couldn't help but do her trick and stick my tongue out. It was so funny to hear her say "Put that away" as that is what I always have to say.

May Purple Onion projects

I have been having a stamping few days after receiving my new Purple Onion stamps in the mail last week. So much that I have managed to do my samples for this month early and a few more projects that I can't share just now.

How tweet it is.

I just love the new birdhouse stamp and knew that I was going to have fun with it and all the banners too.

The bird house has been stamped up several times and paper pieced. When I was playing around with it on the layout I wanted a taller pole so I used the cut of cream pole and turned it into a ledge and added another brown pole section.
