Lime tart sneeks

well sort of lol.
I have been having a bit of fun playing with my next Lime tart kit working on a step post and a card for the latest Stampavie blog challenge and even though the kit isn't do to be revealed until the 1st I am giving you a sneek of some of the goodies included.
Here is the card I created for the Halloween themed challenge. Using one of the owls from the cute Hoo hoo there stamp by Rachelle Anne Miller. This one is sold out but there are some others in stock.I coloured in a black mask on his face to dress him up. I did try and add a cape to him but couldn't get it to look right.

Want to know how I made these sweet lily like flowers that I added onto my handmade branch?

Well then click on the lily link and it will take you to the blog.

The flowers I used are a part of my kit this month and are very sweet.

A tree, a branch and a goodbye too

A strange name for a post but then you will know why very shortly.lol

I got some yummy happy mail today. Several gorgeous cards from some friends that I will be drooling over in the next few weeks and some Martha Stewart punches from Philippa. I so couldn't help myself when she got some more in and snapped up two before they sold out.
Now for my share.

Lime tart blog

On the blog it is time for the dt to reveal our creations for the latest product challenge. Philippa sent us all some Collections chipboard branches. I wasn't too sure what to do with mine till I seen this that Philippa posted in our Yahoo group when we were discussing the branches. Simply stunning. It was on display in a Collections showcase put together by Julie Van oosten. It was created by Audrey Underwood and here is what I created.Along with a card too.

Scrapping the music

The new song is up over at STM and seeing as it is my last challenge as a part of the talented team of awesome scrappers I found some time to squeeze in a layout over the weekend. The song is Our house and seeing as I didn't have any unscrapped pics of our house I managed to find an old one of me taken out back of my Nan's place and used the lyrics "way back then" as my title.

I would like to thank Mary and all the girls that have been a part of them team at STM over the past year and a half for their friendship and support. It has meant a lot to me.
Well I'm beat and heading of to bed.
As always thanks for popping in, any comments and happy scrapping.

Big big share

and no I haven't been that creative over the weekend.lol Just thought it was about time I shared my Lime Tart creations as well as my latest Shabby one seeing as the next challenge went live today.

Craig was racing in the state championships for his remote control car down in Bunbury so he left early yesterday morning and stayed down there as his first race was at 7 so Missy and I have had a girly weekend. Waiting on him to arrive home just in time for dinner. lol

Swimming yesterday morning then of to the shops to buy a pressie for a party she is going to next weekend. We bumped into an Aunty and Uncle that I haven't seen in ages and chatted over a coffee. It was nice to catch up.

I did some mega creating on Saturday night while DD watched some tv then we had asleep over in my bed.

This morning it was all about cleaning, taking pics of Missy A dressed in her vampire outfit practing for halloween, Which I will share later as this post is a little pic heavy at the moment. Taking some more of scrappy projects and editing them before dropping dd at the inlaws and heading down to teach a class at Just scrapbooking.

This is the layout I taught.

I showed the girls how to make Nic's flowers. Messy but fun although I'm not sure that they will all make them again. lol

Lime Tart

Last month I got to work with the A la tart and had a heap of fun with all my projects. Two layouts, a bundle of cards and gift bag too.

Now seeing as I have been making a heap of cards lately I am going to bundle up some together to give away as a RAK to the first three people to email me and tell me just what I used to make the white flower on my gift bag.

Want a closer look.

I got my next tart box and am so looking forward to pulling out the goodies and playing with them. Yummy stuff yet again.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Some creating

I have had a nice mid weekend end and will miss them when I swap my days over next year to working Wednesday,Thursday and Friday.

Wednesday has become my day, well three hours or so of it as I have to pick up Missy from school at 2.30. I pack up some of my goodies and head on down to Just scrapping for some scrappy time. I managed to do my next shabby layout and the two pages here for my 52 week album.

While I was there I handed over one of my dt layouts for this month.

I got to work with some of Bella papers and I struggled for a bit there. Those holes in the die cut cardstock really bugged me. So much that I ended up coving them up. The photo is one of the many I took a few weekends ago of Missy in her new outfit.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The new ad is up. This week Elzia wanted us to do a layout a well as a card.

My layout

A busy weekend.

It has been out here for all of us.
Friday night Craig was out car racing again and Missy and I had a quiet night in. I started fiddling with my layout for the next round of the Mystical Family ties chalenge but ended up going to bed early.
Saturday we started back at swimming. I was so spewing that I missed out on getting into lessons on a Wednesday after school. We went down a little early and she had a play in the wadding pool area before her lesson. She had lots of fun throwing and chasing one of her loved Maccas toys until we couldn't find it in the pool anywhere. Some other little person must of seen it, liked it, and took it without us seeing it. Oh well Missy knows that if she wants to take things with her anywhere and if anything happens to them it isn't anyone's fault but her own. She was mighty calm about it all. I was expecting a hissy fit but nope. That came when the instructor of the lesson, a teacher she hasn't had before expected her to jump in of the edge of the pool. She don't jump. After swimming we wnet up to the shops for a little shopping, caught up with some friends and had lunch with them there and came home. Me to scrap and Missy settled down to watch a movie until DH came home from being out and then took her out to get fitted for a life jacket. You need one when you plan on going out in the new kayak.
About 5ish we headed of to the beach to christen Craigs new toy and they both had fun. Missy wasn't at first as she realsied that Craig had headed of for a paddle with out her so there she was running through the water saying "wait for me" and here I am yelling at her to stop going out any further than she was as I had visions of her being washed away in her life jacket. lol When Craig came back to get her she was waiting to get into the kayak, a wave came up behind it pushing it up against her shins and feet. One so not happy Missy. All stopped though when Craig managed to get her in and they were off. Later on when we got home I checked out her war wounds and the top of both her feet have scrapes on the and she has two matching brusies on each shin.I had two soaked kayakers by the time we loaded up the car and headed home.
After dinner and a bath I managed to get my scrap mojo flowing and did two layouts, two cards and finshed a few UFO's from Wednesday.
Sunday before we headed up to my work where they were running a family photo shoot fundraising session to have photos taken I got Craig to set up the camera for a quick one at home.
Nic, one of my fellow Lime Tart dters was asking how tall we are compared to our partners. Well I'm a shortie and give Missy a few years and she will be taller than me too.
After the photos we went to Mum and Dad's where Craig helped to set up a laptop, we had some lucnh and then came back home to some washing, house work with a touch of flower making thrown in for good measure.
Here is what I can share just now.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The challenge this week was to create a bright and funky layout using pink, orange, teal and black about parents or soemone you look up to. Here is my page with a photo of me when I was about a year old.

Lime Tart product challenge.

Over at Lime Tart Philippa is getting all of us girls to work with a certain product just to see what we do with the same product.
Our first one was to use this Lace paper.
Here is what I made with it.
When Philippa sent me my pizza box with the latest A la tart kit and the lace paper I wasn't too sure just what to do with it but when I started shuffling the kit papers around I loved the way it loooked over the pink paper that I decided to layer it over that onto a card. Philippa also poped in some Sarah Kay Stampavie stamped images into my parcel so I coloured one in to use on my card. This one isn't up in the shop but there are some others just as cute.

Don't forget to pop into the blog to check out what the other girls did with it. Some great ideas. Rach has rocked the lace paper project totally. I so love what she has created.

If you played along with the first tart recipe challenge don't forget to pop into the blog to see if you are the first winner and to see just what we have instore for you next.

Till next time, tomorrow when I share my latest Ad this layout thanks for popping in, any comments and happy scrapping.

Some photos and some scrapping too.

It has been quite a week here at home. Monday Craig picked up his new car. lol As a friend of ours said my car has had a baby.
Work was pretty busy too. I had to help my boss try and sort out the staffing for next year as the days I wanted to have of weren't going to fit in with the other staff there and in the end it was easier for me to swap days around. I got to be on the shift I wanted to so that is a bonus I guess.
I popped down to the lss on Wednesday to crop with some of the girls there and found out that I did real well at the garage sale. I took down six bags of stuff and have half a bag left and ended up with a credit of $440.
I have had a nice weekend here. Friday night Craig went of racing his remote control cars and Missy and I had a quiet one at home. She watched a movie and then we were both in bed by nine as I was buggered.
Yesterday I had a few bits and peices to sort out and before we went I took some pics of Missy out side in her new outfit.
I hate going clothes shopping for Missy as she has a list a mile long of what she won't wear and lately all the skirts I have seen that she will wear are too short so when I seen this long skirt I pretty much jumped on it. lol
After I had taken some of Missy, Blackie and Snowy I made sure that Missy was sitting down, put the camera strap around her neck and showed her what button to push and she took some pics of me. It was a fun photo shoot session and I got some nice pics, mainly because I said that I would take some pics of Blackie and Snowy too. Yeap my little scottie dogs that I brought with my first pay check oh so long ago got married on the weekend. They both went with us in the car on our errand run, and at the newsagent the lady at the counter was asked to pronounce them husband and wife. When we went up to the lss so I could order in some albums they came out again. Lou and the girls in the class were having a laugh over Missy's antics. When we got to the shops Snowie came out so that she could by a dress.
Today Craig was out and Missy and I had a nice relaxing day. I managed to srcap two layouts, do my washing and a little housework too.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
52 Weeks.

I had hoped to do some more pages but time ran away from me this weekend. I'm two weeks behind in scrapping them.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am playing along with the family ties comp and here is my round two entry. We had to scrap our children and use pale pink, blue, yellow and green. lol I so couldn't help but scraplift my layout from round 1.
Well that is all from me for now.
Will be back a little later on durring the week. As always thanks for popping in, any comments and happy scrapping.
