Some news to share

As some of you may already know I stepped down from my postilion on the Lime Tart design team. I have been a part of the team for nearly two years and I felt that it was time for me to move on. Thanks heaps for your faith in my work and for having me on the team Philippa.

Here are two of my last projects for them.

How tweet it is.

Best buds.

And as the saying goes, One door closes and another opens. Well two in this case. lol

That is what happened after I made my mind about leaving Lime Tart, Lee Anne from Scrap Therapy asked me if I would return as a design team member . Therapy was my first online forum dt and it was nice to be asked to return home so to speak. What was even nicer was to find out that one of  Therapy's members, Deb, whose work I have always admired was joining the team along with Mandy, who like me was returning home. Mandy and I have crossed paths in a few dt places before but Therapy was the first and it was where our online friendship blossomed into what it is we have today.

Here is something I have done for the Man of the month showcase that was posted last night. Yes Man of the Month or MOM has returned. I won't tell you what it is though as you will have to pop on over and check that out for yourself.

Love adore card set.

Terri over at Challenge Masters also asked me to come on board as one of the challenge diva's. I will be running a "Scrapping the girls" challenge and a "Card and tag challenge" each month.

Here is what I have done for the "Scrapping the girls" challenge.

but we will need to wait a few weeks for the "Card and tag "challenge.

Well I think that is all from me for now. I really need to get of my but and do some housework.

Till next time, as always thanks for popping in, any comments and happy creating.

Some creating to share.

Using some of the stamps in store over at Lime Tart.

Wahoo after a few dramas with my printer I finally printed out some of the photos that Sandie took a few weeks back. This one is my favorites.

Love my day dreamer.

Using the brick stamp from my new Tim Holtz set.

Seeing how Colleen used it on her projects so effectively I just had to add it to my collection. I was using it at the crop yesterday and Anne Marie sold the one she had in the shop and one of the other girls has put in an order for it too.

Beanie girl.

This one uses one of my newer Greeting farm stamps Beenie Anya.

Lime Tart share

Now that the gallery has been up for a few days I thought I'd pop my projects I haven't shared here using January's half tart.

So proud

I took this photo one day after we asked Asher to go and get dressed for dinner one night. It was so hard not to laugh as all I could here from her room was "Leggings are my friend" over and over as she was talking herself into putting on something she doesn't like to wear and not long after that came "I've got to make mum proud."

Bush Princess

Scrapnapping my friend Lou's gorgeous little girl Lucy again.

Mini album with a few of my favoritre shots from our xmas card photo shoot.

Make sure you pop on over and check out what the other girls have done in the gallery.

Well that's it for now. Thanks for popping in, any comments and happy creating.

with my Tattered flowers die from Lime Tart.

Here is what I made up during the week.

Sending you hugs and kisses.

Made using some of the wide trim that was left over from my Dec A la tarte kit.

This card is on it's way to a very special friend who is in need of  a pick me up.

Wonderful friend.

Made from some material. I cut out five, folded them into quaters and the arranged them onto a scrap of card before adding a button to the middle.

Just another one for my stash using a The Greeting Farm stamp and some seam binding. This one isn't in stock but there are some cute other ones.

Hi card.

Lets dance card.

Adore layout.

I'm back

with that card I promised you.

You're just right.

Using my Lime Tart A la tarte kit papers and a cute Kraftin' Kimmie Goldilocks stamp.

Here are the copic colours I have used.

Hair-E30,E31,E33

Hey did you notice that I gave Goldilocks a make over of sorts. Mine has something that the original hasn't. A friend suggested it and I thought seeing as it is going to be Missy's birthday card this year why not.

As always thanks for popping in, any comments and happy creating.

Guess what

I'm working with the month?

A very yummy A la tarte kit from Lime tart.

Stay tuned I played with it last night and did a layout and a card. I will show you the card later on today. I just have to get the photo of it.

I've had some fun.

I've been making flowers again

It was my turn for a step post this Saturday and I played around with my punches to make some flowers.

I am yet to put these two pink ones on a project but have done up a blue one that was used on this card.

Hi card.

You can find the details of how I did them on the Lime Tart blog. Fiddly but I love the look and it is a great way to use up those scraps we all have laying around.

A challenge card

On Wednesday night when I was scrapping with Jane I was playing around with my pens and stamps. Once I had coloured in the hair and skin of my Sweet Pixies Birgitta I was not too sure just what colour to do the rest of her and Jane suggested purple. Now those that know me, know that doing purple is a real challenge but I so love how the colours in the Basic Grey papers came together with the copics I chose to use.

You make me smile card.

I'm not loving the way the spica on the wings looks though. Oh well I now know not to use it over anything that hasn't been coloured.

Here are the copic colours I have used.
Hair-E50,E51,E53
Skin-E000,E00,E01.R11
Dress and boots-BV0000,BV00,V91,V95
Flower-R11,R12,YG91,93,95

Once I had Birgitta coloured I pop on my computer to see if there were any challenges going that I could do the card for and the first one I checked out was Basic Grey challenges and guess what the challenge was. Wings. So I got to work on putting my card together using one of my growing collection of Nesties, a favorite greeting from one of my Rachelle Anne Miller sets and some punches.

If you get time why not play along as there is still a few days to go before the end of the challenge.

Thanks for popping in, any comments and happy creating.

How do you

store your stamps?

My clear ones are stored by manufacture in a drawer.
My rubber ones are mounted on ezy mount stored on ezy mount sheets in a clear folder in a drawer and
My wooden ones are in a box.

Pop on over to Lime tart and share with us how you do yours and you could be in the running to win one of these gorgeous mini totes hand made by Rach with a few stamps in it.

Good luck.
