I've been ccing

Cyber cropping that is.

Two of my favorite places to pop in for some scrappy chat and inspiration were ccing this weekend so I have played along with a few challenges. My printer ran out of ink so I had to work with pre printed pics and I didn't have many here so I played around with the card challenge mainly.

I'll share what I have done a little later in the post.

This week sees the end to Missy's school holidays although they don't go back till Tuesday as Monday is a pupil free day.

Craig had this week at home with Missy so she didn't need to have two weeks in day care. Next holidays I will take a week of. Lucky he did though as he has hurt his back on Wednesday. Two trips to the physio and a three hour wait at the hospital for some pain killers yesterday has been the highlight of his week off.

Tuesday my friend and I went to see the How to train a dragon and loved it although Missy was chatting through the movie quiet a bit. So annoying. When we got home I snapped a few pics of Missy and Reenie out side.

Missy's chalk town. It got washed away in the rain the next day.

Missy and Reenie.

and I just love this one.
Reenie had jumped of the bench and sat in front of the garden animals and I just sat and waited for her to look my way.

Friday we headed up to Mum's and caught up with my sister and her two children for a play and a chat.

Most of the weekend has been spent here at home. Missy had a pj day today and I attacked the house so it is clean for a few days again.

Scrap Therapy.

Here are the cards I did for Lisa's cyber crop card challenge.

I needed some boy cards so pulled out one of my Stampin up stamp sets and my copics for a play. I've come to the conclusion that boy cards are so not me.

Here are the colours I used on my car.

E08, BG93, C3 and C7

They also had a blind scrap style challenge that included a card and a layout. I did the card and love what I have done. Will load it up once we are able too.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mystical.

I was lucky enough to have three pic already printed to play around with for Shell's challenge.

Shell managed to do her sample layout using no patterned paper at all and I thought I'd give it a try too. lol Thank goodness I had a stash of K and Co die cuts as I was finding it sooooo hard.

Lime Tart

I had some of the left overs from the April kit out the other day and thought I'd have another go at colouring in the Hippo ballerina stamp from Motivet. I messed up my first attempt and ended up binning it.

I lost the little bit of paper I wrote down the colours on but I am sure they were.

YR04, YR07, C1 and C3.

lol Since I lost that bit of paper I am now planning on getting myself a little note book just for my copic info.

I played around with colouring some more this afternoon. I just have to put my image onto a card now. Hopefully tomorrow night.

Well that's about it from me for now.
As always thanks for popping in, any comments and happy creating.

Just a small share

as most of what I have done this week is with my latest Lime Tart kit and a card for a stampers challenge for the Card making stamping and paper craft magazine that I have been asked to join in on.

It was my turn for blog updating this week over on the Lime Tart blog and I started it of with a guessing game that still has a few days to run and ended it yesterday with a step post on how I went about creating this mixed sized double layout.

I managed to squeeze in a layout for Christine's inspiration challenge over at Mystical this week and I was lucky enough to win it too.

I was able to get into a crop at one of my locals on Friday night at the last minute and had fun chatting and creating.

Saturday was a chill out day. I had to pop out to get lotto and do some parcel posting and then it was of to have a coffee with a friend and then home to scrap.

Today I was at Just scrapbooking teaching a heritage class. This is the layout I taught.

I was a bit worried at first about taking on the heritage classes when Jordie asked me but once I get my head around having to scrap older photos I enjoy it.

We finished of the weekend by going out with friends to Han's cafe for dinner.

Well that is it from me for now. Till next time thanks for popping in, any comments and happy creating.

An award and a guessing game too.

I have been awarded a blog award by An.
Thanks heaps An.

I'm not too sure of the rules for this award so I am going to pass it onto all my fellow Lets get Shabby sisters.

Anyone up for a guessing game.

Pop on over to the Lime Tart blog to find out all the details.

Till next time happy creating.

Easter wrap up 2010

Hi there all. Hope that you all had a safe and happy Easter weekend.

Here is a quick run down of mine.

Thursday after work- I decided to do the food shop. Big mistake. The shops were that packed I could hardly move around the shops after an hour I decided to call it quits with half my shopping done. It got to the point that I couldn't push the trolley through all the shoppers in fruit and veggie section there were so many of them about.

Friday-Missy and I spent a quiet day at home and Craig went out fishing in his kayak.

Saturday-I made an early pop into the shops for a few last minute Easter goodies as I decided to start a new tradition here for Easter Sunday and then headed down to Just scrapping where I cropped for most of the day. I managed to finish of this layout.

For the latest Kraft it up challenge. I also managed to give the girls a laugh when I stapled a layout I was working on to my craft mat. I went home with another half finished layout that just wasn't coming together so I put it aside to do this one. lol That layout has since been pulled apart. I salvaged what I could and started again. I can't share it just now as it is for a dt reveal a little later on this month.

After dinner and an emergency dash up to my mum's to clean up after the dogs had made a mess while they were on holidays I then set up the Easter breakfast table.

Sunday-Missy enjoyed waking up to the Easter table and had even more fun looking for eggs and some new Pet shop toys outside.

After a visit to the in laws we went of to the local fair and it is something that we will not be doing next year. To cut a long story short. Missy had her money to spend. She wanted to play a few games. Didn't win what she wanted and chucked a hissy fit when we went to leave. With my arms around her shoulders I pretty much had to push her away from the stall and the poor guy that was running the game ended coming after us and giving her a small pink pig. Which has since been called Grumper. After that episode she has lost a few school holiday treats here at home. Hopefully she will be good this week and earn them back.

Today-A veg out day at home. I did some scrapping, washing and cleaning. Dh pottered in his shed and dd stayed in her pjs all day.

Well that is about it from me for now. Hopefully I will have more to share next week.
As always thanks for popping by, any comments and happy creating.

I've been playing

with my copics again and I am having so much fun with them and some of my older stamps that I brought when I was a cardie. I have also found a few new challenge blogs along the way and will be joining in when I can.

Here is what I have done.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Happy Easter.

This one is for all my friends out there in blog land. I so hope you all have a safe and Happy Easter.

I am also popping it into the Easter challenge over at the House Mouse challenge blog.

I was going to list the copic colours I used on this but I can't seem to find the little scrap of paper I wrote them down on.

When I was going through my stash of stamps I thought I had a few more of this cute little fellow but alas he is the only one but I am sure going to be solving that problem when I can. My friend Jane has got some and I am sure I will be borrowing hers till then.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just for you.

I have done this one up for the Copic Creations blog flower challenge.

Here are the colours I used BV00,BV02,BV04,E33,E35

And can you see the green leaves I have poking out from the flowers. Some of my limited green stash from Prima are a part of the latest Prima Picks.

That's all from me for now. I am of to sort out making tuna spaghetti for dinner and then I'll be sorting out some of my goodies to go down to a crop day at one of my locals tomorrow. I bet you can guess what will be coming with me. All 74 of them.lol

Till then thanks for popping in any comments and happy creating,
