As always thanks for popping in, any comments and happy creating.

It's been a while

since I scrapped our 4 legged princess and while scrapping the other day I pulled out a photo of her very comfy claiming the bean bag as hers.

It's all yours.
Miss Reenie has a habbit of finding any comfy spot and claiming it. Quite often I will go to roll over in the night only to find that Reenie has managed to snuggle down under the covers and is sleeping right next to me. She has also been caught catnapping on the top of my reel cases where I have most of my scrappy stash dtored if I leave it out on the bench or table over night.

I have done this one up for a challenge over at Challenge masters.

I also managed to get some dt work for Just scrapbooking out of the way and it was an added bonus that I was able to do up a heritage layout for a future class with my monthly dt pack so I killed two birds with one stone so to speak. Here is one of the layouts as I can't share the class one until after the class.

Your smile.

This is the gorgeous Miss Lucy, my friend Lou's little girl.

I have got some other stuff that I can't share just now as it is for up coming dt work but will share when I can.

As always thanks for popping in, any comments and happy scrapping.

It was the Easter hat parade at school on Friday and Asher went as the Easter bunny. Here are a few pics.

They say

that good news comes in threes. Well for me that is right at the moment. I have added a new link into my side bar over there. I applied for a spot on the Sketches 2 scrapbook card and layouts teams and was lucky enough to get onto the layout one. Can't wait to get to work on my first sketches for them.

I have got a fair bit to share with you today so here goes.

This weekend over at Scrap Therapy Deb posted her challenge and some more showcases of Teresa Collins projects were revealed. Here is what I did with some of the Timeless range.

Just for you card set.

Hi card set.

Best wishes card set.

Also over at Therapy our 4th design team member has been revealed. I'm not going to spill here you will have to pop on and see for yourself over here. Mean aren't I. lol

I also found time to do my round four chopped challenge layout for Challenge Masters. We needed to include one of each weeks elements on our pages. I went with paint, 3d flowers and white and just love how this layout turned out.

Snapshots.

More photos from the photo shoot with Sandie last school holidays. So can't wait for the next one.

Today was my teaching Sunday at Just scrapbooking. Here is the layout I taught.

Best of friends.

Just love the yellow with the grey.

Well I think that is it for me for now. Till next time, thanks for popping in, any comments and happy scrapping.

Some news to share

As some of you may already know I stepped down from my postilion on the Lime Tart design team. I have been a part of the team for nearly two years and I felt that it was time for me to move on. Thanks heaps for your faith in my work and for having me on the team Philippa.

Here are two of my last projects for them.

How tweet it is.

Best buds.

And as the saying goes, One door closes and another opens. Well two in this case. lol

That is what happened after I made my mind about leaving Lime Tart, Lee Anne from Scrap Therapy asked me if I would return as a design team member . Therapy was my first online forum dt and it was nice to be asked to return home so to speak. What was even nicer was to find out that one of  Therapy's members, Deb, whose work I have always admired was joining the team along with Mandy, who like me was returning home. Mandy and I have crossed paths in a few dt places before but Therapy was the first and it was where our online friendship blossomed into what it is we have today.

Here is something I have done for the Man of the month showcase that was posted last night. Yes Man of the Month or MOM has returned. I won't tell you what it is though as you will have to pop on over and check that out for yourself.

Love adore card set.

Terri over at Challenge Masters also asked me to come on board as one of the challenge diva's. I will be running a "Scrapping the girls" challenge and a "Card and tag challenge" each month.

Here is what I have done for the "Scrapping the girls" challenge.

but we will need to wait a few weeks for the "Card and tag "challenge.

Well I think that is all from me for now. I really need to get of my but and do some housework.

Till next time, as always thanks for popping in, any comments and happy creating.

A little share

I did do more over the weekend but this is all I can share for now.

Pool fun.

Completed for the second round of the chopped challenge over at Challenge masters.

We had to use yellow, 3d flowers and scallops.

That's it for now. Will be back later with a little secret.

As always thanks for popping in any comments and happy creating.

A challenge, some news and some Purple Onion projetcs.

I have had a bit of a scrappy weekend here and enjoyed every minute of it.
Here is what I have done that can be shared just now as some of it is for DT samples.

Devilish cuddles.

This one has been done for a challenge over at Challenge masters. We had to use lime green, paint and circles.

It is a bit hard to tell in the photos but I used one of my Purple Onion stamps from the Stitches stamp set to create my border.

Took me ages to work out just how I was going to do my layout and I love the end result.

Challenge Masters is an American based challenge blog/forum that I stumbled across a few months back and Terri has asked me to join the challenge diva team for 6 months. So looking forward to working with the rest of the team over there.

And here are my Purple Onion dt projects for this month.

Congrats.

One of the girls who does a bit of relief work for us at work is getting married soon and I have made this up to give to her from all of us. As I was taking the photos it struck me that I had made a garter of sorts. lol That totally wasn't my plan but I like the look.

Using stamps from the Hopscotch sentiment and the Labelers set.

A little bird told me.

Using the A little bird and Labelers stamp sets.

Photographed by Sandie.

Another photo from the shoot with Sandie earlier this year.

I have used the Cameras-photographed by, Photographer and labelers sets

I love the way that some of the smaller sentiments are able to be stamped into the mini labels.

Well I think that is all from me for now. Till next time, Thanks for popping in, any comments and happy creating.

Love wedding card.

Photos of Missy enjoying one of her favorite books, Goose bumps horror land on christmas day. She wanted to order some books from the school book club in August and she was allowed to raid her money box to do so under the condition that she didn't get any red squares at school until the order came in, usually two weeks. lol she lasted 2 days and they got put away until xmas. Since getting them she has brought about 4 more from her own money.

And here are the other two denim and lace cards. I enjoyed making the first one for Let's get shabby so I made two more. Fingers crossed after the shabby challenge has finished I will be lucky enough to get them accepted into a magazine as a set.
