I've been having a little fun scrapping over the past few days.

Wicked Princess

The last of the seven deadly sins challenges have been posted and this is my page. We had to use White, 3 shades of blue and 3 chippies and be inspired by a quote about dreams.

One of my dreams is to get my own scrap space so I found a pic on the net and scrapped my dream.

lol I had fun scrunching the paper for this. The white clouds are actually a few sass lass ones that are printed on the other side. Thanks for the fun challenges girls.

And the card.

Which Missy A has already claimed. Seeing as I am on long service leave at the moment Mum dosn't need to pick her up from school anymore and Asher asked if she could give her a card to say how much she misses her. Even though we still see her on the weekends.lol

Hero Arts

This weeks challenge was to play around with back ground stamps and after seeing an idea on the Pink Paislee blog I knew just what I was going to do. I had to go shopping first so I did. I came home with some new Graphic 45 papers and some masking tape.

I added the tape to the paper, swiped it with some paint, stamped on it while the paint was still slightly wet, layered up some of the ATC type panels from one of the papers and ended up with this card all ready for fathers day.

I so love the look of the paint and masking tape that I have another project lined up ready to play with.

Purple Onion

This is my latest page for STM inspired by the song Free to be me by Francesca Battistelli. So many scrapable lyrics in this weeks song. I also was able to use some of my first dt papers from Just scrapbooking on this layout. I had fun cutting out the flowers and leaves and couldn't help but give Missy some wings as her back is too us in the main photo. I used the butterfly from the Brocante stamp set

Also from the scraps I made up two cards as well.

This one is my fav. I picked up my new Hero Arts stamps a while back and couldn't wait to use them.

And this one. I tried to do a male themed card.

Wicked Princess

Here is my page for this weeks Gluttony challenge. We needed to use a photo centered around food,2 techniques, orange, 4 patterend papers and 6 different embellies.and the card.

We needed to have eat cake on it and I love how this turned out.

News

And for some news that made my week out here. Both my Obessed and my Drive me crazy pages posted in the last post ha ve gotten some recognition. Obessed won over at the Ad this site and Drive me crazy was chosen by Karen as layout of the week over a Pages in time. I have pics of them printed out and ready to go to do a page for this week in my 52 week album.

Hero Arts

I am being a bit sneeky with this page. I am going to pop it in for both challenges. As I was pulling out things to add to it and playing around I realised it fitted into both the challenges.We needed to be inspired by an add about socks and part of the add was the word obessed and that is so my Missy about not wanting to wear socks with her boots. I have tried and tried to get her to but she just hates it and I've learnt that it is one battle that isn't worth fighting and she knows not to take her boots off or leave them any where that I am likely to smell them. lol

This weeks challenge was to scrap a layout about your collections and I have been meaning to do one on Missy LPS toys for ages.

and for the card it needed to be a best wishes card.

I used some of my new Purple stamps on these. Some swirlies from the Oranamentals set and the butterfly is on the Brcante set which is on the same page.

Therapy

This weekend was the monthly Look what we can do with post and here is what I did with a Kaiser Clear album.

I am so not into Mini albums and decided to make up some door hangers instead. If you would like to be in the running for this last one check out my post in the link to the look what we did thread and share with us all photos of some other non mini album ideas for the clear album as I would love to have a few more ideas on what to do with the one page left.

Pages in time

Over at PIT I have set a monthly ABC Twist challenge. Missy pulls out three letters from her Upwords game and I add the twist. This month it is to use the products or techniques starting with the letters E L and F and to use three photos.

Here is my page.I used my embossing punch on the red strip, lace and felt.

52 Weeks

Here is my week 19 page.My week 20 photo of Missy home sick is on my kitchen bench to be scrapped after dinner along with this one for week 21.Yes I came home from my b'day lunch to find half of our back fence blown over in the storms we had.

Some pages and some news too

I've had a nice and relaxing first week of long service and have done not much of anything at all. A little housework, some food shoppping and some scrapping too.

My missy ended up coming home from school at lunch time today as she wasn't feeling well, felt hot but no temp and has been sleeping most of the arvo on the lounge. Hope she is feeling better for school tomorrow as I was going to be heading up to the craft fair with a friend and if not Craig is just going to have to have a day home on Saturday with her.

Here is what I have done.

Wicked Princess

This weeks challenge was to do a pale blue monocramatic layout including a hand made embellie, stitching and a non scrapping product with the theme of sloth and I so had to scrap this photo of our Reenie spread out sound asleep on Missy's bean bag. I used bubble wrap as my non scrap item and made up a flower with some lace and ribbon.

It just so happened that my new lot of Purple stamps came in yesterday so I used the Doodled frame set to make my cloud window and the title box and a triangle shaped stamp from the Ornamentals set to do my trees.

123 Challenge

It has been a while since I have played along with a 123 chalenge and I had some fun with this one using up some older papers in my stash. We had to include a long mixed alpha title, a journal spot and three ribbons.

I used my favorite journal stamp from Purple Onion the Scallop circle and just added some lines to journal on.

Just scrapping

I took home some of the new Wisteria papers the other day to put togther a card set class. Here is a sneek peek of what I came up with.A date is yet to be set but I'll update the side bar when it is.

And as for my news. Jordie has asked me to be a part of the design team there. I picked up my first pack today and can't wait to have a play with it and my new Hero Arts stamps.

Wicked Princess
I managed to do this week Wrath challenge for Wicked Princess yesterday after changing my mind a few times on just what to do it on I settled on how angry it made me feel when Asher and I would argue over what she would and wouldn't wear. Now I don't argue and to a certain extent I just let her wear what she wants and hope that one day she will wear the things she wont now. It is a very long list.

The card challenge this week was to make a sorry card so I used up some of the scraps from my layout to make a thinking of you card.

Make sure if you are about tomorrow that you pop into Therapy as there is some news that will be announced.

Wicked Princess

After leaving last weeks challenge to till the last minute I thought I do this weeks one right away. It was a green eyed monster or envy theme this week and we had to use green/black, doodling and a transparency.

I had some fun with my new and old Purple Onion stamps on this one. So love how the letter box turned out. I used the blank scallop to make it.

For the card we had to use the same as the layout and make a good luck card.

Scrapping the music

I realised that I never got around to posting my last page.This is for an album I am putting together for a friends neice whose mother passed away.

I've had some good news about my Tweet treats layout I shared a few posts back.

Over at Wicked Princess it was picked out as layout of the week and it won the layout section over at Hero Arts. I am so looking forward to getting some new Hero stamps.

Wicked Princess challenge

I am playing along with the challenges over at Wicked Princess and the first one was a real challenge for me. I can do pages of me, could make It's all about me work and work with bling too but adding purple to the mix really threw me. I had to go out and buy some purple papers to use and after going to 3 stores today came home with 2 sheets of paper and got to work.

Layout.

I added some rhinestones to my butterflies and went to add some kindy glitz to the flower and it ran out before I finished adding it so I had to try and move some of it around before it driedAn extra part of the challenge was to make a card with celbrate you on it and I used some scraps from my layout for mine.

Layout of the week

My princess layout I posted a few posts back has made it onto the Wicked Princess blog as LOTW. How cool is that. Two of my projects have got a mention on two different sites in one day. Now that has really made my day.
