A small share

As I haven't gotten around to taking some pics off my camera and taking some pics of others I have done today at my friends Christine.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pages in time
I ran my last blind scrap over at Therapy durring the week and not without my usual mess up.lol Yeap I got my vertical and horizontals mixed up. Told the girls in the chat thread the paper strip needed to go vertical and in the no chat thread I had it the way it was surposed to go, horizontal.
I also used this page for a chinesse whispers challenge I started at PIT. Sort of like a blind scrap but you discribe your layout rather than give steps.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
52 Weeks
Week 21
Heres my page from the week before last.

I scrapped my week 22 pages today. Pics of two layouts that brought me some good news durring the week. Yeap, the good news I actually posted about in the last post. I was getting a few giggles over eveyones comments about not being able to wait to hear my news when it was already posted. It is the change that I haven't revealed yet.lol

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rak winner

I got Missy A to do her job before going to bed. My own personal random mnumber generator. lol. I asked her to pick a number between 1 and 6, 6 being the number of people who emailed me with the right stamp that I sent you looking for on the Purlpe Onion site. The lucky number was 6 and number 6 on my list is my gorgeous scrappy pal Peggy. Can you email me your addie and I'll get your scrappy parcel on it's way to you. lol By the look of your little Missy scrapping away in the photos on your blog you may have to share.

Any way that is all from me for now.

Till next time thanks for popping in, any comments and happy scrapping.

Farewell

I took part in my last challenge over at Therapy last night. A farewell challenge set by us dt girls who are all stepping down.

Relsi's part of the challenge was to use two different thickers, PT's part was to use substancial journaling, Mandy's was to use distressed edges and lace and mine was to use a 3d stamped image. All what we think is a part of our signiture style.

Here is my page.

The little white flower above the photo is attached to a tag where I have journaled about how it felt to have Reenie back home after four months when she ran away towards the end of last year.

Over my time spent at Therapy as a forum member and then a part of the dt I have made some good friends. Some who will always hold a special place in my heart and who I one day hope to meet up with.

I' ve been scrapping

Well what else is a scrap nut to do. lol
Have got a few things to share here so here they are.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am being a bit sneeky with this page. I am going to pop it in for both challenges. As I was pulling out things to add to it and playing around I realised it fitted into both the challenges. We needed to be inspired by an add about socks and part of the add was the word obessed and that is so my Missy about not wanting to wear socks with her boots. I have tried and tried to get her to but she just hates it and I've learnt that it is one battle that isn't worth fighting and she knows not to take her boots off or leave them any where that I am likely to smell them. lol
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This weeks challenge was to scrap a layout about your collections and I have been meaning to do one on Missy LPS toys for ages.

and for the card it needed to be a best wishes card.

I used some of my new Purple stamps on these. Some swirlies from the Oranamentals set and the butterfly is on the Brcante set which is on the same page.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Therapy

This weekend was the monthly Look what we can do with post and here is what I did with a Kaiser Clear album.

I am so not into Mini albums and decided to make up some door hangers instead. If you would like to be in the running for this last one check out my post in the link to the look what we did thread and share with us all photos of some other non mini album ideas for the clear album as I would love to have a few more ideas on what to do with the one page left.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pages in time

Over at PIT I have set a monthly ABC Twist challenge. Missy pulls out three letters from her Upwords game and I add the twist. This month it is to use the products or techniques starting with the letters E L and F and to use three photos.

Here is my page.I used my embossing punch on the red strip, lace and felt.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

52 Weeks

Here is my week 19 page.My week 20 photo of Missy home sick is on my kitchen bench to be scrapped after dinner along with this one for week 21.Yes I came home from my b'day lunch to find half of our back fence blown over in the storms we had.

Well that is about it from me for now.

Till next time thanks for popping in, any comments and happpy scrapping/card making.

Cropping fun and a photo too

I've had some fun chatting and scrapping this weekend over in Therapy for the cyber crop and in Pages In Time for their NSBD CROP.
Here is what I can share for now.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeap the girls are cyber cropping and retreating in the same weekend. I so wish I was able to be over there right now. Oh well here's hopping for next year and a little bridietold methat Mandy and Michelle are making sure I have ample of room to join them in my dreams. lol
This month I got to set the card challenge and I got the girls to try their hands at making flowers. Something I am loving at the moment as you can tell from some of my projects.

Cosmo Cricket papers, Hero Arts stamps and Stampin up punches.
Now the challenges aren't due till midnight tomorrow so if you are lucky enough not to be working pop on over and check them out.
I've also been working on a few other projects for Therapy but can't share just yet.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For the first time ever I played along with some challenges for NSBD. It is so big over in America with crops online and face to face ones happening all over.
I was lucky enough to get four challenges done. Maninly because you were able to do a layout or a card. I went with the card option for three of them knowing that I didn't have much time to scrap today after not finishing my STM layout till early this morning.
Handmade flower challenge.
Kraft and Bazzil cardstock, Prima and Sceneic Route papers, American Craft letters.
For the flower I punched out a scalloped circile and circle then layered them with a length of lace and a button.
I used a few extra pics I printed and didn't use from when I did my backyard wrestle layout a few months back. Both Asher and I hate Craig giving us Raspberries and that is what he is doing here when we set up the remote contol to take some family pics. lol I don't think I ended up with one nice one in the end.
Card challenge.
Kraft and Bazzil card stock,Purple Onion stamps,Carolee's Craetions letters, Prima packaging.
For this challenge we had to do some paper piecing, stamping and to use something recylced, either all three on one card or one on three. I went for the all three on one option using one of my new Purple Onion stamps. It is a scalloped one and I chopped it in half then re arranged them curved edge in to form the flower. Reminds me of the Pink Paislee ones.
Multi paper challenge.Kraft cardstock,Basic Grey papers and number, Making Memories letters.
For this one we had to use 4 patterned papers and shock horror. No flowers. Lucky for me I needed a boys b'day card.
Doodle challenge. My Minds Eye papers, Kaiser and Bazzil flowers and Stampin up punch
lol for this one I sort of had a head start. The base of the card had already been done and it just needed the flower and punchie to finish it of. Another couple of blank cards to have on hand just in case.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

52 Weeks

Here is my photo from last week. When I got the email from Lou asking if Asher wanted to be the JGDT over at ASJ I knew what I would be taking a photo of lol.She was so wrapped when shewoke up on Saturday morning and I showed the site too her.

Well I think that is about all for now. I do have a few Purple projects to share but I think I have shared enough for now don't you. lol

Till next time, tomorrow when I'll post the next Stm challenge and my Purple projects thanks for popping, any comments and happy stamping/cardmaking.

Happy easter everyone

And here are some pics from today.
Egg hunting at 6.00 this morning. I couldn't get her to wait any longer. The Big bunny sent her on a treasure hunt following clues as to where to look for her goodies. He will need to make the clues a bit harder next time as she worked them out pretty quickly.Out up at Mundaring wier. One of the places we went on our day trip with a few friends.
With a Koala at a wildlife park we popped into.
And at home with her Easter egg stash. Not all from us. Missy geats so much chocolate from friends and family that the bunny here only brings a few small hunting eggs and some special little toys. Last year it was a bug catcher and some plastic bugs, this year it was four new little pet shop toys.
I'm not sure why blogger flipped the photo and seeing as it is taking me ages to load up tonight I'm not going to try again.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here is an Easter project I made up with some of my Purple onion stamps. I loved making this one up and ended up making 4 more to give to Asher's teachers.
There is a template for the Bag in a box project over at Splitcoast stampers. If you have never poped in there before do so as are a lot of great ideas along with instructions for lots of projects.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Well I think that is about all for now.
Till next time thanks for popping in,any comments and happy scrapping and card making.

Lots to share.

So grab a coffee and get comfy. lol
Well over at Therapy we were cybercropping this weekend and I can finally show some creations and spill as to what the new man is.
Cybercrop sketch challenge.Monthly sketch challenge.Man of the month challenge.Class sneek peek.
Sign up in the forum.Easter baggies. All using the new man Cosmo Cricket. Have fun shoping girls and as usual the 20% of includes the new ranges too.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
52 Weeks
What was I thinking. LOL Well at this stage all I wil say is that when it is finished I don't think I'll be doing another and I'll def not do the 365 day challenge. The novelty has worn of. I had gotten a bit behind with scrapping my pages (about 2 weeks) so did a big catch up today and when I was checking the calendar I realised I have scrapped photos that were taken in the same week. My flounder and sun set fishing page I shared a few posts back were taken on the Sunday and Wedesday of the same week and the photo I scrapped today for what I thought was the week after is for the Saturday.
So here are two more pages. A 3rd for week 12.None for week 13.
And one for week 14.I took some photos of Asher's Polly pocket tea party on her bedroom window sill yesterday for last weeks photo and now to try and remember to take a new photo for this week.
I'm sure that this won't be the first time I mess it up but oh we ll it is done now.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hero Arts
I finally found some time to play along with the latest challenge and here is what I have made.Yeap some more Easter baggies.
The challenge was a one layer challenge seeing as it was their blogs one year b'day last week. Now this was a challenge indeed for me as I was very tempted to add more pp, cardstock or a cut out stamped image and found it really had to stop myself. In the end I cut the butterflies wings slightly to give them more of a 3d look. I have made another easter baggie but will share that a little later once it goes up on the Purple onion blog along with a link to the place I got the idea from.

Home news
Missy A had her first school disco for the year on Friday night and with my work days changing I didn't get to take her, that was Craig's job. Her clothes were all set out for her and all he needed to do was feed her, get her to get changed, take some photos and walk her down to the school. Well he fed her, after she had gotten changed and probablly went to the disco with chicken pasta sauce all over her black dress and the photos he took well lets just say I'll never leave him in charge of the camera if I want decent scrapable photos.
One of my Hero Arts group girls Paula who I was lucky enough to meet last year passed this award onto me.
Thanks Missy. I post my awardees in my next post.
Well that's about it from me for now.
Till next time, tomorrow when I get to share my latest STM and ASJ pages thanks for popping in,any comments and happy scrapping.

How cool and a share

I got a yummy email this morning from Lisa saying that my Baby onesie card is featured up on Craft journal as part of this weeks inspiration. It so made my morning.
On Wednesday night in amongst my sneezing and sniffling I played along with Mandy's blind scrap and this is the page I created with it.
Thanks Mandy I love how this turned out and it has made me start reaching for my stash of yummy materials I have here.
Also on Friday night the Look what we did with Bella albums post went live over at Therapy and I created a birthday book in the hope that it will help me not to forget birthdays. I used my new Purple onion date me stamp set and a Antique ledger stamp all through my album with lots of yummy Bella goodies that are on sale over in Therapy. The end of the month is near and that means I have been doing some creating that I can't share as yet for Therapy's cybercrop next weekend and the reveal of the new man of the month. Stay tuned to the forum as clues will be going up any day now.
Till next time, tomorrow when I will post my latest STM layout, thanks for popping in and any comments and happy scrapping.

Lots to share guys.

So grab a coffee and make yourselves comfy.
This pic will probably be my photo for this weeks 52 week album unless I take another one that will take it's place. My missy has always had issues with the water and isn't going to be a Thorpee that's for sure. It has only been in the last year that she has really gotten over putting her face in the water and has never been one for jumping in either which has been holding her back in the levels. She is in level two and the oldest in her class by two years I think.

I've been working with some of the Bella goodies that are on sale this month over in Therapy.

Here is my layout that I did the blind scrap instructions from last weekend.

I christened my new script stamp from Purple Onion on this layout and it has become my new fav Purple stamp.

We are lucky enough to live across the road from the school and it is Asher's mid week treat to be able to walk home by herself on a Wednesday, with me standing on the corner that is. She's been warned a few times that if she plays up and doesn't cross at the crossing guard she will not be doing it again in a hurry.

This is my yearly walking down the drive on the first day of school photo. I think I have only missed one year.I've used one of the Bella Grace die cut sheets of cardstock and although I like the shape and the pattern on it I can't get my head around the punched holes in it so I've been trying to cover them up.

A card made from the scraps of something I can't share just yet. You will have to pop into therapy next weekend to see what I did with the rest of the circle die cut cardstock.
My latest page for scrapping the music. So not the best photo of my Missy A but I scrapped it anyway as it fit in with the lyrics of the new song.I am so loving these papers from Websters. They are so asking to be cut up and layered and you can see I have used my latest fav stamp from Purple onion again.
Two weeks entries for my 52 week album.
Week 10.
This is Asher jumping up in excitement when they called out for any flounders caught in the swan fish to be brought up and wieghed in.
Week 11
My husband doing a spot of sunset fishing on Wednesday night last week when we went up to Tranby House on the river where we got married and had fish and chips for tea.
I used another of my new Purple Onion stamps the Date me set on this layout and goodies from my March guestie kit over at Scrap my memories. I have got so much out of that kit and there is still enough to make a few more of my 52 week layouts or cards.
I've also had some fun with other projects for Purple onion but will share here once I get the ok from Michele. I can't wait to share two of my projects on which I tried something different and really liked the results and will be doing again for sure.
Well that's about it for now. Thanks for popping in and any comments and till next time happy scrapping.

More Scrap my memories and Therapy creations

Just popping into share some of my creations over the past few days. I so like my mid week weekends now that my days at work have changed.
Man of the month ATC. Which will be heading over to PT tomorrow. Using some of my Therapy Bella stash.
Two weeks of my 52 week album.
Week 9.
After 3 years attending a local daycare we had to change as they stopped picking up for Asher's school. So the pic is of the new daycare enrolment forms.
I used some more of my Bella stash for this one too.
Her old daycare was called Wombat wallow so that is where I got the journaling wording from.
I used one of my new Purple onion stamps on this. The circle days from the Date me stamp set. I think this will become well used. Comes with months and numbers too.
Week 10.
I so had to take a photo of my page up on the Scrapstreet site.
I used some of my Scrap my memories guestie kit on this.
I also used the kit on this card. Thanks Missy Jane for the Sunday card scrap step post.
Well I've got to grab o ur dinner out of the oven. Yummy homemade meatball pizzas.
Thanks for popping in and any comments. Till next time happy scrapping.

Scrap my memories challenge and kit

As part of my spot as a Guestie over at Scrap My Memories I got to set a monthly challenge.
Here is my page.

I just had to play around with my new stamps for this chalelnge. They have been used a few times now already.

You can check out the details of the challenge here in the forum.

I was getting a little worried with the kit landing here in time and it finally got here on Friday. It is a great kit full of Yummy Websters pages paper and lots of other goodies too.

You can check it out in the shop here and you can check out some of what the dt girls have done with it in here.
This week over on the Hero Arts they had the second round of win a day on the blog participants. I had so much fun when I did it last year and the projects the girls have done have been awesome. You can check them out here in the weekly wrap up post.
I managed to do up a card for this weeks inspired by challenge and have always been a big fan of
Debbie's work so did one of her colour and sketch challenges.

I have been working on my March challenges for Therapy this weekend too. Nothing I can show just yet though but one will be revealed on Friday night for the cybercrop and the rest will be revealed on Super Sunday where we announce the winners of last months challenges and the challenges for March.

So dig out an old school photo or a school themed av and headed o ver and check out just what is happening this month. Better hurry now. The bell is about to go and you don't want to be late for class now do you.

Speaking of classes I held one in Therapy last night and for the first time in ages I managed to run the whole class with out is mix up of any sort. lol Here is the layout I taught. You can find kits up in the shop and the class with no chat up in the forum.

Well that is about all from me for now. Till next time, tomorrow when I be able to share my secret, thanks for popping in, any comments and happy scrapping.
