Ad this, ASJ and the surprise

Yeap I'm back. Three posts in three days.
Here is what I have to share with you today.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The new ad is up and when I first seen it I knew just what I was going to use on it.Since I first stumbled across Ruby Street ages ago when Mandy and I were doing heaps of blog hopping trying to find just the right team for the shabby site I have been a lover of the kits and have accumulated a few little dress cuts outs. I so wanted to use them on a layout but the trouble was finding just the right photo for it. None of the ones I had here of Missy or even myself really seemed to suit the look I wanted so I headed down to Mum's and raided her photo album for some old pics of me.I ended up pulling out some more of my vintage yummies from What is old is new and some flowers from De-lish as well and I am so happy with the way this one turned out.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Aussie scrapjack

and the suprise.

Wow this month at we had a free for all. We got to choose our own jacks and I chose to jack one of my favorite layouts of Mandy and boy was it soooooo hard not to let it slip out. Mandy and I chat via email at least once a day, several sometimes, especially when we have new challenges or voting for Shabby being sorted.

Here is Mandy's stunning page.

I love the way she used the Basic Grey bird cage stamps and I used that as a starting point for my layout although I ended up cutting mine for the paper instead of stamping them.

Anyway I had better go. I have got to get dd sorted out and ready for a play date and a sleepover tomorrow, pack for an all day crop followed by a crop night at a girl friends.

Yeap I so can't wait.

As usual thanks for popping by,any comments and till next time happy scrapping.

Some scrapping.

After a long and tiring day at work I'm finally here to post some pages. One I forgot to post yesterday and my new Scrapping the music layout.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We are continuing with our first week of the month tv theme and this week it is Gilligan's island. I so loved watching this when I was little and when I was looking for a photo to scrap I just couldn't go past this one of Missy A taken while we were on holidays in Albany onboard the replica brig Amity.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mystical Scrapbooks

Are running a family ties competition and this is the layout I did for the challenge.

Using some of my older stash of Basic grey, some of my vintage goodies and my latest fav thing to do with my basic grey leaf spray stamp. Stamp it on the reverse of the paper, roughly cut it out, turn it over, doodle leaf image and finish of with some water colouring.

Well that is it from me for now. I'll be back tomorrow with my Ad this page, hopefully my Aussie Scrap Jack page and a special surprise for some one too.

As alwasy thanks for popping in, any comments and happy scrapping.

52 week catch up and some reminders too.

As usual I have had a scrapy few days or a week of it actually seeing as I was on holidays, house bound with no car. What else is a girl surposed to do. Housework. Yeap well I did a litttle. Entertain Missy. Well lately she pretty much entertains herself although we have had a few game challenges and you are reading the monopoly challenge winners blog right now.lol
One of the things I talked Missy into buying while we were on holidays was Monopoly deal. A card game based on the board game and she caught on with the rules very quickly and it is a fav here.
Anyway here is a catch up on what I have been scrapping.

Ad this and have you seen

Just having a veg out day at home today. Not too much else you can do without a car is there. Asher had a freind sleepover and the little monkeys were still up at 11. Lucky for me I was still up. Will be going for a walk in a few ticks or so down to the shops.
Well my old scrap goodies are all bagged up and ready for the garage sale at Just scrapping this Sunday at 12.00. Just waiting to get the car back so I can run them down. lol I had to re check 130 odd bags of goodies as I had the wrong letter code written on them. When I usually shorten my initals I go with JAM, my first and middle names, it is sort of like a nick name I guess. Any we had to have a letter code for our baggies and I was given JAD but I automatically put JAM down on the sale list.
Any one who is a local pop on out as the sale is a lot of fun and you never know just what you will pick up.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The new ad is up

and here is my page

I tried to do the balck base thing but it so wasn't working for me. Hope you can all play along.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Have started a fortnightly recipe challenge. Click the link up there to see what it is all about and what you could win. Here is what I have done as a sample using one of my Grunge paper flowers . lol I had to add to it as for some reason I thought that we had to use two papers not two maunfactures papers.
I got my next pizza box from Lime Tart today and love what I have got to play with this month. All kits will all be revealed tomorrow.
Thanks for popping in, any comments and till next time happy scrapping.

Scrapping the music

We have had a nice long weekend this weekend and too make it even nicer I am on holidays. Not that I can actually do much as my car will be in getting a paint job. I had a great scrappy day with Jane on Saturday at one of out LSS. 12 hours of scrappy fun with some yummy food too. I managed to get three pages, a card and a altered bag almost finished. Although it is only the card(Owl one in last post) and my STM page I can share just now. Yesterday I just pottered at home sorting out some of my scrappy stash to take up to another local for a garage sale. Craig went out fishing and Missy A and I had a nice afternoon. Today Craig decided he wanted to go for a family drive and drive he did. We went and tried out the new freeway all the way to Bunbury, about an hour or so away. Had some yummy fish and chips, Missy had a play on the playground and then came home again and started sorting out some more stuff with a heap more to go tonight.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The new song is up Forever Friends and here is my page. Yeap another holiday photo. I pulled out the words Hanging out from the song as they so suited this pic of Missy leaning on the rail of the old whaling ship at whale world. I am slowly running out of them.
Don't forget to pop in and give me a few suggestions on what to name the owls in my new fav stamp and I'll pop your name a hat for a rak. I've had a giigle over one of the names Gladdie suggested, Jowlie.
Anyway thanks for popping in, any comments and till next time, tomorrow to show my latest ad this page happy scrapping.

Lime Tart news and a card too

Lime Tart is going to be starting something new. If you want to see just how you can win this scrummy scrappy pack

you had better pop into the blog on the 6th Oct to find out.

I also played along with the current Stampavie challenge which is an autumn theme. Here is what I came up with
using my favorite new stamp that I got from the Lime Tart shop.

These two little owls are going to be well used that I think they really need names. So pop in a few suggestions in the comments section on this post and Asher and I will each pick out our favorite name. So what do you get in the way of naming rights well as few stamped images of course as well as a scrappy rak.

Till next time thanks for popping in,any comments and happy scrapping.
