Dancing and christmas photos

Finally. lol

Although I may have to get Missy to dress up in her costumes again as the photo's aren't the best.

Three wishes.

This one is my favorite.

Knock on wood.

Missy reluctantly looked up at me from her DS for this one.

My boy lollipop.

Missy's favorite.

Unless she changes her mind again it will most probably be her last year of dancing.

I didn't take all that many photos on christmas day.

Handing out pressies.

Book worm in the making.

lol not a xmas present but a book club order that she wanted. She was allowed to get some extra money out of her money box for it on the conditon that she didn't get any red squares at school for talking until they arrived. She lasted two days and they got sent up to Santa for him to put under the tree.

Waiting for Santa to come

Merry Xmas Asher. lol My BIL must know Santa as every year he calls out her name.

Well that's it from me for now.

New challenge and birthday photos

The new challenge is up over at Let's get shabby. This time we would like you to be inspired by the patterns in architecture. You can find the photo of an old building and the challenge details on the blog. Here is my creation.

Race you to the top.

The photos were taken at the beginning of the year at The round house one of the first buildings built out here by convicts in Fremantle.

The bottom photos were taken at the steps leading up to it and the top one was taken sitting on a canon at the top.

I hope you get time to play along this month.

I was going to post some of the few christmas pics I took yesterday until I realized I have yet to share any from Missy's 10th b'day so will share them first I think.

Opening pressies.

The usual b'day kiss and a family shot.

Yes with that tongue sticking out. lol

Her favorite pressie.

Trampoline and swimming fun.

Blowing out the candles.

My Missy is now in double digits and growing up so quickly.

Well that's all for now. Will share some xmas photos tomorrow.

Christmas wishes

to all my friends out in blog land.

Hope you all have a very special day with your families and friends.

Heritage layout share.

I have had the papers that I wanted to try and use for my February heritage class over at Just scrapbooking for a while but kept on forgetting to grab the photo I wanted to use from Mum's. I finally remembered to get it and it worked really well with the Cosmo Circa papers and chipboard.

I have showed the photo to Craig and a few of the girls at Just scrapbooking and they managed to pick out me in the photo first thing. It is probably a bit hard to see on here but can anyone else pick me out?

I just love the flowers on these papers. So great for 3ding.

I finished of my teaching Sunday with a night out for dinner with friends and a drive to check some christmas lights.

I'm of to put the finishing touches to my christmas cards and write them out. Want to see what I ended up doing. Stay tuned I'll pop them up in another post.

Shabby xmas cards

Last week over on the Let's get shabby blog we ran a Christmas card rak where most of the girls all created cards, sent them to me with a few rak goodies and I had them all trying to guess who created the cards.

Here are mine that those that played along all managed to guess right.

and not a bit of Copic colouring in sight.

lol but I am making up for that now. My kitchen table is covered with pens and some of my new Purple Onion stamps.
