Ellen's layout

This is the layout I scrapped for Ellen in the swap over at Mystical. I wasn't going to post it here till Ellen got it but seeing as it fits in with the ruffles challenge over at Creative Prompts I have popped it up early. Thanks Ellen for letting me submit your layout.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Creative Prompts.

Cheeky boy.

I had fun with some more of my Purple Onion stamp stash and paint on this. The doodled word set, the stitches set and the circles 11 set both found on this page in the store.

Here is a detail pic of the ruffles as it isn't that clear in the big pic seeing as it is an all blue page.

As always thanks for popping in, any comments and happy creating.

Some scrapping to share yet again lol

This week has been a busy one and it ended with a big scrappy weekend with me being lucky enough to spend sometime scrapping with friends on both Saturday and Sunday. Lucky me. I'll share what I have done a little later on it the post.

On Monday we got hit with some storms. Lots of wind, rain and hail and a bit of damage about too. At work our power went of, out for nearly 24 hours. We, Craig and I ended up with some hail dents in our cars. Nothing major though, thankfully as it would of been a long wait for a panel beater to fix it. Craig snapped this pic of Missy holding one of the hail stones that fell out at Mum's.

On Tuesday I popped down to one my local where I dt at for my usual scrap morning only to find that the power was out. I didn't get to do as much scrapping, spent most of the time chatting with Lou, Jordie, Mardi and topping up mu stash of Copic markers.

OnFriday Missy had crazy hair day at school so I raided to craft cupboard at work for some pipe cleaners and wound then around 5 piggies in her hair. lol She called herself the red back spider princess.

On the way out the door for school we noticed a parcel on our doorstep for Missy. She was so excited about it and here she is with some of what was inside.

An assortment of toys all the way from America from one of the players over at the Shabby blog, Zandra. She read on my blog a while back about Missy and the love she has for her Pet shop toys and offered to send some of them over for her that used to be her daughters, Gabby. Well they couldn't find them and sent over these instead.
Thanks ever so much to you both. Missy has played with them all weekend.

Well that's my weekly wrap up. Here is what I have done scrappy wise this week.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just scrapbooking.

When I was down there last week Jordie gave me some Grahic 45 papers to play around with for a possible heritage class. Here is sneak of what I came up with. Just a sneak for now until Jordie has seen the whole thing.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Enchanted.

Were cyber cropping this weekend. I only got to one of the challenges, Tiff's scrap lift one. Here is what I came up with.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Motivet and Stampavie

Now that I have got a small stash of Copic markers I have been having fun colouring in some of my Stamp images.

Here are some cards that I have created.

I got this cute hippo from Motivet in a swap with the girls over at Lime Tart and the bunny one I got in my bundle of goodies from a Stampavie challenge I won a while back.

I have done up the Easter card for the latest Stampavie Easter challenge.
I still have to master the blending of colours but I am getting there slowly.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Enchanted.

I have been playing along with the monthly photo swaps and this month I swapped with Ellen. Here is a sneak of what I have done. Will share the whole layout once Ellen has it.

Well that is all from me for now. Till next time thanks for popping in, any comments and happy scrapping.

It's a shabby easter

The new challenge is up over at Shabby and I hope that you all get time to play along.
As you can guess by the post title the challenge is to work some shabby magic on an Easter creation.

Here is what I have done.

An Easter basket and matching card for Missy on Easter Sunday.

I enjoyed creating these and can't wait for all the excitement of the egg hunt next Sunday morning.

Make sure you pop on over to the shabby blog and check out what the rest of the shabby girls have done and while you are there make our newest member to the team welcome.

Till next time thanks for popping in and any comments and happy creating.

Some scrapping to share

Has been a nice week and quiet weekend out here. Work as usual for me this week but with a nice end to it. It was our 10 year anniversary on Thursday so we all went for tea. A Greek smorgasbord. So yummy we will definitely be going back there again.
On Friday night I went of to one of my locals for a crop with some of my scrappy pals. A good night with heaps of laughs too. I managed to walk out with two layouts and some Copic markers too. Guess where most of my store credit from teaching and the garage sale will be going.

Here is what I have done this week.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lou handed me another challenge with my dt pack this month. Some American Craft Dear lizzy. I am a fan of Thickers but not so much of their papers. It was really doing my head in at the crop on Friday.

My Missy.

Not my usual type of layout. lol Lou and Kat were even commenting on how flat it was. I used my favorite of the moment Doodled frame Purple Onion stamp.

Summer fun

This one I finished of last night. Not quite loving it though. I used the Purple onion Vintage label stamp and the Harlequins stamp to make up my banner.

Bush trek sneak

This is a sneak of the May heritage class layout. Just a sneak as I have used a photo on it of my sisters and brother and some don't like the thought of me putting their pics up on the net.

lol This one is more like me.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Copic Creations

After coming home with the copics on Friday night I spent most of the morning on the net doing some searching for tips and stuff and just had to have a play around. In my search I came across a Copic challenge blog and it is now in my blog lines. The challenge this time round was to use your favorite copic technique. lol I don't have one yet.

Spring card

If you have got any and want some great tips on using them make sure you pop in as they have a heap of links to tutorials in the side bar.
If you have any other great places for tips on using them can you please pop a link in the comments.
I used a doodled flower and Spring word from the Seasons stamp set from Purple onion.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Creative scrappers.

This is the second layout from my crop on Friday and one not flat.lol I based it on sketch 93 over at the Creative scrappers sketch blog.

Future model.

Well that is it from me for now so till next time thanks for popping in any comments and happy creating.

Layouts, cards and photo's too

It has been a busy weekend out here. One that started with a big drama.

Friday night was my monthly Friday crop at one of my locals. I had a blast there but things happened at home. I will just say I wasn't happy about it all.

Here are a few snaps of my girl in her new clothes and one of me, double chin and all.

Today I did a little housework and then went of to another lss where I taught my monthly heritage class. I enjoyed the class and already next months is fully booked with a wait list.

Here is what I have to share.

Will post the whole layout once I know that Tam has seen it.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well this weekend has flown by as usual.
Friday I did some more sorting out for a market on Saturday and a garage sale at our local in a few weeks. I then headed down to the local to tea die some doilies for a class next weekend. lol things I have to do when I thought being able to get hold of cream coloured doilies wouldn't be a problem.

Saturday I was up early and headed out to the market. I made $60 on more of Asher's old clothes, toys and stuff. One lady brought $30 in clothes. We then headed of to the shops where Missy got to spend some money that she had saved as well as the money from the sale of her dolls at the market. My FIL went through a stage where he would buy me and Asher a porcelain doll ever so often. We had six up on the top of Asher's wardrobe along with a clown for years without any issues until she started waking up with nightmares about a year ago. After about a week or so I finally got out of her what the problem was. She was having bad dreams about the dolls so they went into the sale box. She was wrapped that they were gone and she ended up with $25 to spend. We found a DS game she wanted to get and of we went to the counter to get it. All was going good until the lady couldn't find it in the drawer. I was going to leave our phone number for her to ring us as we had a few things to do at the shops but little miss attitude wasn't happy with that.

"Fine then I just won't get it" at the top of her voice and of she goes in a huff back towards the toy section.

In the end she found some more little pet shop toys to add to her collection along with an activity book.

Saturday night was more sorting for the garage sale and then same with today but throw into that, several loads of washing and some housework too. I now have all my stuff sorted, packed, priced and ready to go.

Well that is it from me for now. I am of to check out a few things on the computer then it will be shower and bed for this little tired scrapper.

As always thanks for popping in, any comments and happy scrapping.

Oops I forgot one.

I worked on this one last weekend over at Christine's place for a possible heritage class over at Just scrapbooking and didn't share as I needed to show Jordie first. So here it is.

Swing

I am not usually a Kaiser Craft fan but when I seen these papers I grabbed a few.

Details of the class will be in the side bar for any of those locals who might want to join me.

That's all for now I promise.

Till next time, probably tomorrow with my ASJ share thanks for popping in,any comments and happy scrapping.

Not much to share today

as I have been working with on some dt projects and my Lime Tart half tart kit.

Here is a card from my kit projects.

Philippa has managed to get in some new stamps all the way from Canada. Motivet. You can check them out here in the store.

This card was created for the current Motivet sketch challenge.

I had a nice email during the week. The card set that I did up for the Therapy cyber crop has been acepted for publication. I just needed to make a third for the set. They also won the cyber crop challenge.

I had a great day out at my monthly 10 hour crop on Saturday and managed to get 3 cards, a gift bag and a layout finished.
None that I can share as yet but will when I can.

Yesterday I had a major clean up day and today I scrapped and did some cooking. Long weekend all finished but not just yet as I don't work on Tuesdays so I have one more day up my sleeve.

Thanks for popping in and any comments and till next time happy creating.
