After a long break over Christmas and the new year Let's get shabby is back up and running with a great challenge. You can see the challenge details over on the Let's get shabby blog. Here is my sample.
Puppy fund tag.
My girl has been wanting a puppy for a while now and her Dad has said that if she could save up her pocket money that he might get her one. So since after Christmas she has been saving away so I decided to make her up a Puppy fund tag using a vintage dog tag I have had in my stash for a while now.
I was inspired by the dog in the poster along with the colours and it's layout.
Attached to the back of the tag is a clear snap lock bag in which Missy has managed to save $41.00.

I did manage to get some scrapping done for two challenges but being the forgetful one I am at the moment I didn't get to post them up onto my blog and into the challenges in time so here they are.
Love.
Created for last months Delish inspiration board.
I just love the colours and other inspiration elements and had fun creating this. I was hoping to use some of my Christmas tree owl photos but they didn't look right.

I hope.
Created for the sketch challenge over at Dusty attic and entered into the in-store competition at Made with Memories. The photo was taken by the talented Sandie Mallon.
As always, thanks for popping in, any comments and happy creating.

Hey Julie! Nice to see you back 'at it' & Scrapping...that photo of you 2 in the bottom one...magical! LOOOVe the red/white combo in the other page...not one I use much myself, I'm scared of it! AND I ADORE the puppy fund creation. Tell your girl, she's doing VERY Well, & to keep saving - it will be worth it to get a puppy!!!
Hi..These are gorgeous layouts, and I love the puppy tag, I do hope she gets enough savings for a doggie! and then I hope she looks after it!
couldn't tell which one I loved more for different reasons-love that one is bold (all the red is awesome)yet still clean and uncluttered (something I am not good at)-espec love the red/white stripes! Then I love the other because it's soft and sweet and calm...hope you don't mind that I pinned both!
just found your blog via counterfit challenge. I am loving your style. So glad i popped over to browse. caroline x
