Lots to share guys.

So grab a coffee and make yourselves comfy.
This pic will probably be my photo for this weeks 52 week album unless I take another one that will take it's place. My missy has always had issues with the water and isn't going to be a Thorpee that's for sure. It has only been in the last year that she has really gotten over putting her face in the water and has never been one for jumping in either which has been holding her back in the levels. She is in level two and the oldest in her class by two years I think.

I've been working with some of the Bella goodies that are on sale this month over in Therapy.

Here is my layout that I did the blind scrap instructions from last weekend.

I christened my new script stamp from Purple Onion on this layout and it has become my new fav Purple stamp.

We are lucky enough to live across the road from the school and it is Asher's mid week treat to be able to walk home by herself on a Wednesday, with me standing on the corner that is. She's been warned a few times that if she plays up and doesn't cross at the crossing guard she will not be doing it again in a hurry.

This is my yearly walking down the drive on the first day of school photo. I think I have only missed one year.I've used one of the Bella Grace die cut sheets of cardstock and although I like the shape and the pattern on it I can't get my head around the punched holes in it so I've been trying to cover them up.

A card made from the scraps of something I can't share just yet. You will have to pop into therapy next weekend to see what I did with the rest of the circle die cut cardstock.
My latest page for scrapping the music. So not the best photo of my Missy A but I scrapped it anyway as it fit in with the lyrics of the new song.I am so loving these papers from Websters. They are so asking to be cut up and layered and you can see I have used my latest fav stamp from Purple onion again.
Two weeks entries for my 52 week album.
Week 10.
This is Asher jumping up in excitement when they called out for any flounders caught in the swan fish to be brought up and wieghed in.
Week 11
My husband doing a spot of sunset fishing on Wednesday night last week when we went up to Tranby House on the river where we got married and had fish and chips for tea.
I used another of my new Purple Onion stamps the Date me set on this layout and goodies from my March guestie kit over at Scrap my memories. I have got so much out of that kit and there is still enough to make a few more of my 52 week layouts or cards.
I've also had some fun with other projects for Purple onion but will share here once I get the ok from Michele. I can't wait to share two of my projects on which I tried something different and really liked the results and will be doing again for sure.
Well that's about it for now. Thanks for popping in and any comments and till next time happy scrapping.

Photos galore and a card too

Not much scrapping done this weekend but I've got loads of pics to share.
Our Missy got an honour certificate on Friday at school. I was so proud of her. I took some pics but they pretty shocking. I can never manage to get good ones at the assemblies. Oh well not to worry. I will take a pic of her with it durring the week.
This weekend out here in Perth it was the yearly Swan fish competition and dh being the avid fisher is he joined in and so did Asher.
She had caught herself a flounder Saturday morning in the first few minutes of having her line out and was so excited about it.
Here she is with it. Not wanting to hold it though.
This morning we went up to the weigh in and had hoped that Missy would be in with a chance of a prize with her flounder. This I took as they called up all the flounders in to be weighed. She excited don't you think.Of the three flounders weighed in hers came in last but it wasn't by much.
At the park near the weigh in there were a few weight exercise things and Missy had a ball on them. One of many pics I took.
Trying to get a nice photo of my two together isn't easy. This is the best of three or so I tried to snap while waiting at the weigh in.And here she is with one of DH's catches. It so wasn't going to win anything but it didn't stop her wanting to take it up to get weighed.
I had hoped to do a few of the challenges for the scrap my memories cybercrop but I only got to one of them. Made this with some of the yummies left over form the guest dt kit. And one of my fav Penny Black stamps that I've not used in ages.
Well that's it for now. Till next time thanks for popping in and any comments and happy scrapping

Yeap as you can guess it is a nursery rhyme theme crop. You can find out all the details in the forum. Here are my samples for the challenge I set as part of my guestie role.

Another Scrap my memoreis page

I've had a play around with some more yummies from my March guestie kit.
These are a few of the over 50 odd pics I took a few weekends back when I had a play with my new remote control for my camera. Asher was so wanting to have a turn of pushing the button that she was pretty much grabbing it out of my hand.
Thanks for poping in and till next time happy scrapping.

Purple onion and Scrap my memories share

Hey guys just a quick pop in before heading of to bed.
I pulled out my Kit from Scrap my memories to work with again before packing my scrap stuff away for the day and madeup this gift set with the Jenni Bowlin paper from it.I wasn't too sure just what I was going to do with this paper but when I started cutting out the patteren it all just fell togther. Simple but I love it.
I am having so much fun with the kit and can't wait to play with it some more tomorrow night after work.
I also can't waitto play with my Purple stamps some more either after I added some to the b'day card and gift bag.
Here are my DT sample for February.
I have used my favorite Vintage postmark date set along with the Doodled flower sentiment set, and the doodled foliage set on the same page.
I enjoyed making my butterfly out of one of the flowers from the doodled flower set I made some more.
I also used the Seasons set and one of the stamps Seasonal definitions set.
And then used one of the Seasonal Definatitions set stamps again along with the Hopscotch Sentiments set that I used on my b'day set.
Well that's it from me for now so thanks for popping in and any comments and till next time happy scrapping.

Scrap my memories challenge and kit

As part of my spot as a Guestie over at Scrap My Memories I got to set a monthly challenge.
Here is my page.

I just had to play around with my new stamps for this chalelnge. They have been used a few times now already.

You can check out the details of the challenge here in the forum.

I was getting a little worried with the kit landing here in time and it finally got here on Friday. It is a great kit full of Yummy Websters pages paper and lots of other goodies too.

You can check it out in the shop here and you can check out some of what the dt girls have done with it in here.
This week over on the Hero Arts they had the second round of win a day on the blog participants. I had so much fun when I did it last year and the projects the girls have done have been awesome. You can check them out here in the weekly wrap up post.
I managed to do up a card for this weeks inspired by challenge and have always been a big fan of
Debbie's work so did one of her colour and sketch challenges.

I have been working on my March challenges for Therapy this weekend too. Nothing I can show just yet though but one will be revealed on Friday night for the cybercrop and the rest will be revealed on Super Sunday where we announce the winners of last months challenges and the challenges for March.

So dig out an old school photo or a school themed av and headed o ver and check out just what is happening this month. Better hurry now. The bell is about to go and you don't want to be late for class now do you.

Speaking of classes I held one in Therapy last night and for the first time in ages I managed to run the whole class with out is mix up of any sort. lol Here is the layout I taught. You can find kits up in the shop and the class with no chat up in the forum.

Well that is about all from me for now. Till next time, tomorrow when I be able to share my secret, thanks for popping in, any comments and happy scrapping.

Scrapping the music, some news and a blog award

The new song is up over at Scrapping the music I'll be your mirror. It is a song I've not heard of before and I pulled the word wind from the lyrics as it so suited this picture of Asher with the wind blowing her hair in her face.

If you would like the chance of wining some Purple onion goodies then play along if you can as they are sponsoring STM this month.

I woke this morning to a very nice email. I have been asked to join the team over at Scrap my memories as a Guest designer for March. So can't wait for my kit to get here from Canada.

I was given an award durring the week and forgot to post it and pass it on. Thanks Anthea. Love popping into your blog and checking out what's been happening. I miss our little catchs up when you were out here.

Well that's it from me for now. I took some pics of Missy today on her first day back at school. Will post some when I have had a look at them.

Till next time happy scapping.
