My weekend.

Started with me and everyone down at the rec center on Saturday morning needing ear plugs when Missy decided to throw a major hissy fit.
All over not winning a toy in one of those game machine thingys. Lasted for about 30 mins.
I calmly sat and ate the hot chips we had ordered and had my coffee while she was yelling at the top of her voice telling everyone what a bad mum I was by not letting her have another turn at the game and saying she wanted another family. When I finished we left to go to the newagent and get lotto. Still screaming in the car so I turned up the radio, she screamed louder so up went the radio. At the newsagent she decided that she wanted to buy a stuffed toy and wasn't going to leave with out it. We left without the toy and the car screaming/radio session continued. Luckily for me we only had a five minute drive. Still screaming when we got home so it was a trip to the bathroom and she got a fully clothed cold shower. Screaming stopped. Once she had sorted her self out she was evicted to her room for a while where she feel asleep.

The rest of my weekend was pretty uneventful after that.
Fish and chips for dinner on Saturday. I taught a heritage class in the afternoon

over at Just scrapbooking and we went out for tea last night.

I didn't do all that much that I can share right now over my weekend scrappy wise but here is what I can.

August Heritage class.

Now to start thinking of what to do for September. lol

Well that is all from me for now. I'm of to work shortly. As always thanks for popping in, any comment and happy scrapping.

I feel your pain. Sounds like you managed to stay fairly calm.

Ironic that there's no layouts of her this post. ;)

Geez they sure know how to test us!!
I wish I could put my 7 yr old in a cold shower, especially when she refuses to have a bath on a sunday night and tidy her bedroom then after 1 hour of making me feel like the worlds worst mother she promptly falls asleep on her messy bedroom floor!! arrrrgh!!

A lovely heritage page for a class..how calm and serene it seems..such a shame there aren't photos of the victorians throwing hissy fits!!

You must have been a patron of saint Julie....LOL, I don't have children but I work in a supermarket where I see this on a daily basis. Well done for staying calm, but having the last say in the end..good on you.

I love your layouts simply beautiful.

Hugs.

Yay, another mum who turns the radio up super loud and it gets louder as the tantrum screams get louder, we should start a bad mum's club, Nate puts on some oscar winning performances of late, don't you hate these stages or in particular when he is tired the same routine, "Mine" to everything. Your weekend sounds a little how mine went, reasonably uneventful apart from the child...wouldn't have it any other way, would you?

Love the gorgeous layouts by the way.

Love Melxx
