is up now.
The challenge is all about those heart-string tugging letters, child notes, vintage war loves
lost and won etc etc....these are just examples!!
Whatever you chose, your creation must contain a letter/s or note/s that you've
written or been written by you or others living or passed.
Now this one had me stumped for a bit and I had no idea what I was going to do as I haven't got any love notes myself, lol dh ain't that kind of guy and although Missy loves to draw I don't really have anything special she has done. It wasn't until I went to see my mum that I thought to ask her if she had anything herself so we went lookingthrough some of her photos and stuff and came across a picture booklet postcard type letter that my Grandfather sent to my Nan from Brisbane before he went of to fight in WW2. So I have used that on my layout called Beautiful Brisbane.
I so didn't want to stick the postcard down in any way as you wouldn't of been able to see it properly so played around with some string and it is tied in place and the cut out embellies on the right and under it are 3d and help to hold it in place.
I used a mix of Websters and K and Co papers, some Dusty Attic chipboard elements and Delish flowers all scrapped on a doily that I picked up at an op shop a while back.
Here are some detail pics of the postcard itself.
Make sure you pop on over and check out who our sponsor and what the prize is along with what the other girls have came up with and I can't wait too see what you all do.
