New challenge

Is up over at Let's get shabby.

This time round it is all about Weddings. Pop on over to the blog to get the full details.

I have a friend who is getting married in a few weeks and wanted to make her something special that she could carry with her flowers if she wanted to. I followed the wedding good luck saying "Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue" I used a mix of old and new scrapping supplies, the butterfly is one of a few that I wore in my hair when I got married and there is just a touch of blue on the ticket. I had fun making it and my friend Tam just loved it.

Here it is.

and some close ups.

As always thanks for popping, in any comments and happy creating.

OMG, Julie, this is BEAUTIFUL! What a thoughtful and creative gift for your friend!

I'm embarrassed to say this is my first visit to your blog. But, holy cow! LOADS of inspiring projects are hidden here! And, your sneak peek of a future heritage class has me ALL excited! I want to see MORE!

Totally in love with your Valentine card, too! May I have your permission to lift that one? LOVE it!

Oh my gosh, look at the time! I've been browsing around waaay too long! Gotta run! But, you can be sure I'll be back! Big hugs, girl! Have a fabulo-so weekend!
