Some sunday sharing

I've had a busy few days this weekend. I taught class at Just scrapping, went shopping on Saturday, took a few photos of Missy and Reenie, worked on my STM and Ad this pages, a flower step post, which I'll share here and a card too and today the house got cleaned, some of Asher's crap or treasures if you ask her, got culled and the washing all sorted ready for it and the house to get dirty again. lol
These are my Hero Arts Asian doll cards that I taught yesterday and the girls in the class were probably cursing me with the amount of cutting out I got them to do but the cards all looked great in the end.
My class credit didn't last long, not that I thought it would lol. I picked up another album to try and get my pizza box stash under control and also grabbed me some of the new Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses range. I so love the backgrounds in this range. So much so that I have already used one on my Ad this page.
After the class Missy A and I went of to the shops as I wanted to get a new cat bed for Reenie and a tunnel as well. Both were a hit. I've not got a photo of her in the new bed yet but have got a few of her in the tunnel.
So love this photo and it is my week 37 photo for my 52 week album.
I also wanted to get a few more pics of Missy so we ventured out onto the patio with her new polly pocket pets for a little photo shoot.Just love that cheeky grin.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Over at Mystical Scrapooks the girls have a challenge called We dare you 2. I was dared to make a shaped card using the colours white, teal, brown and black and no flowers and this is what I came up with.
Using the Date me stamp from Purple Onion. lol I couldn't use flowers so I snuck in the flower shape.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Over at Enchanted Tracey set a challenge this month to make your own flowers and to share the steps in the forum. I had some fun making mine so I thought I'd share them here too.
Step 1
Cut and fray a length of material about 1" wide. I've got two here as my material wasn't as long so had to join them together.
Step 2
Lay your strip on a flat surface and shape it into a circle, like you would playdough if you were making a snail out of a snake. Adding a few tacks every so often to hold it in place.

Step 3
Tack the end of the strip to the side of the flower and flip so that you have the stiching on the backside.

Step 4
Finish with a button.

Tip -if you had some Jac paper you could punch or cut a circle a little smaller than your flower size and stick you flower down as you go rather than tack it and that way you can peel back the other side and pop your flower straight onto your project.

I have got this on my latest Ad this layout and once it has gone up on the blog I'll put it up in the gallery.

Well that is about it from me for now. I think I'll do some work on my blog and then I'll have an early night.

Till tomorrow thanks for popping in, any comments and happy scrapping.
