Some scrapping to share

Has been a nice week and quiet weekend out here. Work as usual for me this week but with a nice end to it. It was our 10 year anniversary on Thursday so we all went for tea. A Greek smorgasbord. So yummy we will definitely be going back there again.
On Friday night I went of to one of my locals for a crop with some of my scrappy pals. A good night with heaps of laughs too. I managed to walk out with two layouts and some Copic markers too. Guess where most of my store credit from teaching and the garage sale will be going.

Here is what I have done this week.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lou handed me another challenge with my dt pack this month. Some American Craft Dear lizzy. I am a fan of Thickers but not so much of their papers. It was really doing my head in at the crop on Friday.

My Missy.

Not my usual type of layout. lol Lou and Kat were even commenting on how flat it was. I used my favorite of the moment Doodled frame Purple Onion stamp.

Summer fun

This one I finished of last night. Not quite loving it though. I used the Purple onion Vintage label stamp and the Harlequins stamp to make up my banner.

Bush trek sneak

This is a sneak of the May heritage class layout. Just a sneak as I have used a photo on it of my sisters and brother and some don't like the thought of me putting their pics up on the net.

lol This one is more like me.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Copic Creations

After coming home with the copics on Friday night I spent most of the morning on the net doing some searching for tips and stuff and just had to have a play around. In my search I came across a Copic challenge blog and it is now in my blog lines. The challenge this time round was to use your favorite copic technique. lol I don't have one yet.

Spring card

If you have got any and want some great tips on using them make sure you pop in as they have a heap of links to tutorials in the side bar.
If you have any other great places for tips on using them can you please pop a link in the comments.
I used a doodled flower and Spring word from the Seasons stamp set from Purple onion.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Creative scrappers.

This is the second layout from my crop on Friday and one not flat.lol I based it on sketch 93 over at the Creative scrappers sketch blog.

Future model.

Well that is it from me for now so till next time thanks for popping in any comments and happy creating.

Funny how tastes differ isn't it? I like them all, but I especially like the one you like least, the "Summer Fun" LO. I think that one's just so much fun with the doodled frame, the banner, the ribbon, ... it all turned out so great!

Wow, love love summer fun, and the future model, they are truly amazing, and isn't it funny when you don't relate to a manufacturer and you use their products, I love the layout and the doodle stamp is gorgeous, I do admit it is not your usual style but it is gorgeous all the same, and I agree with Tanya, not sure if you could achieve a bad layout....and by the way if I worked in a scrap store I would have no credit either, just product...Love Melxxx
