Novemeber kits are up

over at Lime Tart.

I was lucky to get the Full this month and it is delish.

If you would like to grab one I wouldn't think about it too much.

Kraft it up.

Back again to share my entry for the sketch over at Kraft it up. Just love this photo of my friend Lou's two children Harry and Lucy.

The photo was taken on a photo shoot that another friend Sandy did. So can't wait till after xmas as Sandie is going to do one for Missy.

Thanks for popping in any comments and happy creating.

Just scrapbooking page share

I got to work with some of the new October Afternoon sea side papers this month in my dt pack from Just scrapbooking. Here are the layouts I have done.

Mummy cuddles.

Aren't these Jenni Bowlin butterflies just gorgeous?

By the sea shore.

I wasn't at all too sure just what to do with these papers and the die cut stickers until I remembered I still had a few printed photos from our Albany holiday last year and Missy's yellow top matched the yellow paper.

It's a bit hard to tell in the layout photo but Missy has on her Little Miss sunshine T-shirt so I incorporated it into the title.

Recognize the sketch. It's the latest challenge over at Kraft it up. I was going to pop it in the challenge until I remembered that I couldn't so had to do another one which will be in my next post.

Thanks for popping in, any comments and happy creating.

Challenge 17

Over at Let's get shabby is up and have we got a treat for you!
A wonderful array of beautiful creations
from the Shabby Design team which now
includes our five new Shabby Girls!

CHALLENGE #17

is about:

"Raiding Your Sewing Boxes"

But before we have a ‘Non -Sewer Shabby Revolt’ on our hands:
(did some of you throw your hands up in horror!! lol)
you don't need to sew unless you really want too!!

It's important to read all the information here....
---------------------
Our challenge for you this month is to create your project using items from your
SEWING BOX.

We would like to see at least three (noticeable) sewing box treasures on your creations and seeing as our Sponsor Carol creates some amazing embellished pins then
PINS need to be one of your three.

Here is my creation.

A moody princess.

I snapped this photo of Missy after we came home from having our hair cut a few weeks back, two inches off the bottom and shaping around her face and no one has noticed it with having it pointed out to them.

I got her to lay down on the lawn out back and as you can guess from the photo she wasn't happy about it and I just love that stray bit of hair across her face.

Here are some close ups.

My pins and two of my sewing box treasures.

The material that my pins are stuck into is the inside part of an old needle packet that I raided from my Mum's stash from Nan's sewing box. The printed black card under the photo mat has been cut of some old press stud packaging.

And this is my third sewing box treasure. The back side from a packet of old hook and eyes.

Make sure you pop on over and check out what the other girls have done. They have created some awesome projects.

Thanks for popping in, any comments and happy scrapping.

I'm in heaven.

Scrapping heaven that is.

I came home tonight from work and dinner at Mum's to my Lime Tart full tart kit and I so can't wait to play with it. It is gorgeous and is my favorite one I have had by far. If you want to make sure you get yours before they are sold out then check out the subscription details.

Tomorrow we will be posting the dt samples for chal 17 and we have some awesome creations from everyone that I am sure will inspire you.

Some purple onion creating.

I needed to make up a few male birthday cards this weekend and I pulled out my Purple Onion birthday noteblock stamp.

65

I have taken a box of cards into work for the girls to buy a few weeks ago. lol I have sold one but have been asked to make this one for one of the girls husbands birthday.

Happy birthday.

And this one is for my dad. It is his birthday on Tuesday.

I so have trouble making male cards. I find it so hard not to add all the pretties like flowers and the like to them.

Well that is definitely all for now. I promise.

Till next time as always thanks and happy creating.

Get picky and a problem solved.

I joined in with the first challenge over at Get Picky and enjoyed playing around with my goodies to do this layout.

Pampered.

I snapped these picks of Missy when she was getting her hair cut a few weeks back. When Deb asked her if she wanted her hair washed she was all for it.

Today we went out to catch up with a friend and her new baby Benji and Missy was stalling something bad and all because I warned her that she would need to wear her footless stockings. After a few tears and lots of trying to talk me around she came up with a solution.

Problem solved.

Yes she rolled them up. I was trying so hard not to laugh but hey she is wearing them and not fussing so that is all that matters I guess.

Thanks for popping in, any comments and happy scrapping.

I've been gardening today

After seeing the gorgeous cards that Nikki and Tanya have both done using their CC Designs barrow stamps I just had to get mine dirty. I teamed it up with a fence and created my garden card.

I have used one of my Stampavie stamps with some more Prima Jack and Jill papers and have used sketch 86 over at Card patterns.
